I'm also interested in hearing how those with 4E+ feet are doing with these.   So far, True has been my only option to get the width I need.

Im an off the charts 8 4E+ and Ive now given up on these skates.

My custom skate size is about a 7.75 EEEE in a custom bauer, I also have a very flat foot with almost no arch

The shop had me try a size 8 as well as a size 9, went with the 8 since the 9 felt loose front to back even without baking.

Ive had my skates baked a couple times but I just cant get rid of foot pain on my arch/side of foot.  Just cant get the size 8 boot wide enough to fit my hobbit feet.  I love the ankle flex these provide but have gone back to my custom bauers/Trues and now appreciate how comfortable they are

Worn them a dozen times and will never go back to regular skates again. I've noticed a significant reduction in hip strain while playing with them, and that doesn't take into account the performance improvements of being able to T push faster and get deeper into a stance to challenge a shooter in tight without going down too early.

Of all the new gear I've picked up since I've returned to the net, these are the first that have really blown my mind in terms of raw performance over a prior generation of equipment.

I was pleasantly suprised that these skates reduced any hip pain I was getting.  I guess the ability to lean forward really does reduce the stress on the hips.  I may even try going back to a stiffer pad if my hips dont hurt!

Generally speaking, it seems like everyone is amazed or satisfied with the performance?

As to be expected, we have some "unusual" feet and people are still dialing in the fit? But these are feet that don't fit perfectly into stock skates to begin with?

I have one of those odd feet that has never fit well into any non custom feet.

I was worried I couldnt get a good fit but so far am suprised by how well a these feel on my feet

    First skate today

To start I’m normally use 7.5 fit 3 bauer

konect the size 8-8.5 was my perfect size

the angle with the skate is fantastic I feel I’m more than ever ready for the shot I’m ready to attack the play I really like that.

i don’t know if it the ice or in my head but I feel to connect more with the ice and win ton of power

At store the skate was perfectly fit it’s was incredible. Today on ice I feel lot of pain. It’s was like the skate in store was a fit 3 and at my game they come back at a fit 2. The guys at store already tell me I can come back anytime to bake them a second time but I don’t know if you experience something similar

i play tomorrow and Friday so I will wait until my games before going bake them again

Try giving it a couple more skates.  Mine felt really tight and had pressure spots the first time out.  2nd time out was much better and 3rd time out I had no pain at all.

  5. Went to my local pure hockey and picked up a pair this week.  They had all sizes in stock at the time but only seemed to have one pair in each size.  Im coming from a pair of custom bauer 2S skates.  Retail size off the scanner is an 8.5 EE (fit 3 is not wide enough) but my customs are something like a size 8EEEE (the bar for width is pegged to the far right on the scan).  Was worried that the size 8 would fit me since they did tell me that some guys with wider feet do have issues with pressure around the lower buckle.  Tried both the 9 and 8 but decided on the 8 since I really dont like having that extra room in the tow.

So far only one skate in them, fit is decent, will have to see how they feel after a couple skates but I still have pressure and some soreness on parts of my foot after one skate.  Edge bite while down is better than anything ive ever used.  That being said Im going to have to get used to these/play around with profiling.  When Im in my stance/shuffling they feel like they dig into the ice too much/too sharp eventhough Im using the same profile and 5/8 cut I had on my 2Ss.

Will see how they go for my next skate tonight
