More shades of blue than the Dallas Cowboys home uniforms.
Happy to read that I'm not the only one annoyed by this, I mean the Cowboys.
But saying this, The Habs have (at least) 3 different shades of blue for the jersey stripes, pants/helmets and CH logo.

Anyone seen this brand up close?
I just hope it's not a new venture from Agatone.

Marc Denis even mentioned possibly his knee or groin again but could not pin point exactly if and when that could of been the case.
At quick glance of that pic, Simmons 993/994 in weave came straight to mind.
The Habs confirmed that it had nothing to do with the previous injury.

I can't believe it took over 25 years for the Avalanche to ditch the black pants, gloves and helmets. I always liked the logo, the colors, but the black was off.

It’s only for the year to help teams stay afloat without having to hemorrhage and lay off more employees. Easy trade-off.
Canadian Federal Income Tax was supposed to be "temporary" during WW1. I'm still paying it, over 100 years later.

Heres a project I recently completed. I put it on my Instagram but I might as well post it here too.
I've been picking at it for the past few years. I love wearing old Jofas, but having a young family I worry about wearing 30 year old plastic on my 30+ year old head.
Composite Jofa 282 replica (yep...a clone).
Tried to stay as true to the original design as possible while removing anything I thought wasn't needed (logo, rivet holes, adjustment points) before creating the mold.
Did the chin cup in black vinyl with a vertical stitch pattern.
Cage is by OTNY I believe. Got it off eBay many years ago.
This was a lot of work but overall I'm happy with how it came out
You're my hero!

I think the colours should match the Mariners and the SeaHawks. I like when a city clearly has a connection between pro teams. Like Pittsburgh, Pirates, Steelers and Penguins all have the same colours. I would prefer them to match the SeaHawks though, with the lime/Neon green.
I think a team's colour scheme should reflect the city and it's environment. Montreal is Red, white, blue because at the beginning, the Habs chose those colours, to reflect the French particularity of the city. It's France's flag colors (back then, Quebec didn't had a flag). When I think of Vancouver, I see the ocean and giant trees. So Blue and green is perfect, I never got into the black, yellow and orange or the Navy, Silver and Maroon. That's where I would start if I was in charge of the graphics for Seattle.

Is it confirmed 'yes' next season they'll have to switch or is it still a maybe right now?
I know Miller tried it and said that, in order to have them form fitting, there's stitching going through the padding, creating soft spots. But they weren't showing pictures in the article. I guess it's a go for next season since the NHL originally planned on making the switch at mid season. My guess is that the NHLPA said no and that it had to start at the beginning of a season.

Has anybody seen any prototypes for the new form fitting C/As goalies will have to wear next season?

yes I saw him. That gave me the idea to post that here.

@chakal - Love the Goldorak theme! Maybe a Jofa dangler would work best. When I tried the Itech one on my HM30 I used to wear, I found that it would stick out too much. I left the middle loose like Richter used to but the middle would collapse on shots.
I hate lexan danglers. I just can't see through it and it always blocks my downward vision. The old Itech dangler is the only one that I can stand.
Here's how I attached my Itech dangler to my HM30 clone on my Sportmask Centurion. Works like a charm and never had any issues with it. You need to drill holes on the front and attached the dangler on the front too to solve all the troubles you had.

This isn't the first time I've seen this, but I'm just as curious about it since it looks very interesting. What are the benefits of the one-piece landing?
The CCM Blokade pads were like this. But it is totally illegal now by NHL rules.... but who cares.

I didn't ask before, but I have a sinking feeling he won't do a CCM clone. Probably a conflict of interest of some sort
@chakal - an insider info?
I can ask, I have to go pick up a mask that he's re-padding for me soon.

Good Looking Set Chakal.
Smart move to get the double break as well. I've found the thigh rise of the GT's quite a bit stiffer than the G3's.
How are you going to go about and curve them in as you do without the profile lock or additional straps?
I will put them upside down with a bit of weight and see if that works. Will see tomorrow.

New set to pick up tomorrow. Warrior R/GT pro 33+2.5.

It's cool to see tribute sets. But I was wondering, in 20 years from now, how will future NHL goalies pay tribut to current NHL goalies? I mean, now, goalies use 3 different masks with different paint-jobs each season and nobody uses the same graphic on gear for more than a one season. So I guess future goalies will still be paying tribute to 80's and 90's goalies.
The only goalie with a distinctive and unique mask that comes to mind is Rask. I think he used the same paintjob for his whole career.
