Just a small bit of contrast between the pads and gloves eh?
The pads are replacement from a custom X900 set so I only needed pads

Sold my G4's and got a new set.
P2 users here: Anyone have issues with the pad returning after rotation? Any time I put the knee strap behind the calf, the toe of the pad doesn't return back. I've tried 1/2" toe tie, 2" toe tie, with and without boot strap, tight, loose, and every strapping adjustment. It ONLY happens on my left leg. ONLY when the knee strap is at the calf. THe right leg is completely fine. Also noticed that in the b-fly, the problematic left pad in question also gets pushed out more, like my knee almost lands more on the inside of the landing gear.
Any thoughts?
PS: It's never happened when I was in Warriors or any other pad (Brian's, RBK 18K, Bauer RX's and Vaughn V4)
When you put the knee strap down to the calf it’s meant to open up the knee for knee pads but it makes it very loose. I had the first generation of the Premiers and this never happened but I had the two leather straps very tight. Maybe putting the smaller quick motion strap on might help. But I switched to bauer and I like wearing the knee strap to my calf and the pad does pop away from my knee at times. It’s not a big deal because it’s usually after some super odd movement but it does happen.

I’ve got white optislide material. It has gotten marked up by pucks and is not as easy to clean. I find Goo Gone is best so far. Magic Eraser is not great on this material. I’ll have reach out to Brian’s for advice on this as Goo Gone might be bad to use. @Jacob Musselman
How is the sliding?

I was under the impression that Vapors fit a little more forgiving and larger than the Supreme? I have wide feet, and that's how it feels to me, anyway.
I suggest trying them on. I was in The Hockey Shop in Surrey for a couple of hours, and tried on Bauer and CCM, so I was able to compare between all the lines.
Oh then idk

Are you thinking about the Supreme 1S? Because I found it to be a totally different fit. The 1S didn't wrap around my foot like the Vapor 1X does, that's why I went with them. I could tell right away I would have had really bad lace bite if I went the Supreme route.
The Bauer website had this image, which really helps showing how different of a fit it will provide.
This is more than likely because the supreme boot is for a wider foot while the vapor line is for a narrower foot. This is just like normal player skates. I have the Supreme S190 which are only different materials but it fits around my foot well because I have wider feet.

I think it's Nash and it was kind of think which made it hard to get a hold of the stick. If anybody had problem like this please let me know.
I thought the palm felt like me CCM blocker palm and that has always been great but the side of the blocked was a different story. With a stick in hand I actually had to break it in to that I could grip a stick without anything catching. I didn’t have this problem when I bought my CCM.

Ya. I went with a premier pro. Bulk wise it wasn’t much better but it’s supposed to be like that however it’s very mobile especially after using it once.

I just bought 2s knee guards and have used them 5 times and here are my impressions.
1. You must have a garter belt or they slip down and it feels like your landing on tacks.
2. Relatively comfortable when you land in the knee lock
3. If you add some mods there crazy comfortable.
4. Very good protection from what I’ve felt
5. Good quality however some discoloration after the sessions.
Not the best ever but pretty good so far. Much better than my warriors, if you didn’t love the 1s, there nothing to write home about.
I just order the 2S knee guards and a 2S stick. I found with the CCM knee pads that are identical to the 2S ones if you wear socks over and wear the bauer padded goalie pants under there is no issue with discomfort or slippage

I actaully didn't get the 1X OD1N's. I got a full set of Senior Bauer Vapor X900 equipment for only about 1300. However I do agree with the statement that the wait times are brutal.
The second image is a picture out of the 2017 employee catalogue. If you click on the image and zoom in you will see a 90 day leadtime which let me tell you if you didn't know what it was like the Bauer employee I talked to, you definently should find out. The leadtime is basically an added time so instead of the 6-8 weeks make sure you add the 90 days.

What’s the minimum order?
This is not just sticks. When I ordered my X900’s I wanted something to better match my team that the online customizer didn’t offer. If you go to a retailer the actual order form has almost every NHL teams color combination on there.

Let me ask you this: of the 8 goalies listed in the rosters for the Finals (3 for Washington, 5 for the Knights), how many of them wear Bauer...? Not the starters. Hell, even GruBauer doesn't wear Bauer! LOL!
They’re all in CCM
