I recently took the skins off to actually trace the design of the SLR's but I liked the sock style while it lasted haha. 

Yeah I was a little uninformed when I bought my gear so my mask is a tad big. Going down a size when I get my new one for painting.

Hey guys, haven't been on here in a while but I finally have some games under my belt and some pictures I really like. Mixture of pictures with my rookie league team and pictures from the 25 Hours of Hockey event the Ducks put on last month. 

This was a really intriguing thread to read. As someone who's been really dead set on basing my paint job off a pre-existing one (Al Montoya's design from his days in Winnipeg), it really has me thinking about whether its still a good idea. Personally I think that I would be able to make enough changes to the design to really make it personal, especially in the color scheme, but Im definitely on the fence about it now. 

Also, this is probably one of the most civil debates I've seen on the internet ever and it's incredible haha. Not used to people being able to debate for as long as this thread is and not get completely out of hand.

Hey everyone, My name is Jake. I'm a new goaltender living in SoCal. Wasn't a huge hockey fan as a kid as I played baseball growing up but my dad worked for a company that got us a lot of tickets, mostly for the Kings. My buddies got me back into hockey during the 2014-2015 season and I've been hooked since. I'm a Ducks fan but I also follow the Avs fairly closely as I'm looking to move to Colorado one day...and I'm a huge Patrick Roy fan. Playing wise, I haven't seen game action just yet, but I've been doing private lessons with a former ECHL goaltender for about 2 months now. Really looking forward to joining a rookie league that starts this July.
