  1. I have the warrior x3 pros knee guards. The padding was and still is extreme hard from the get go and I've had them for two years. What I'm trying to find out are the passaus softer out of the box and thick enough.
  2. I've tried volley ball pads and gform. The warrior 3xpros have lots of padding the trouble is it's very hard. Thanks.
  3. I did. Way to expensive sight unseen. Thanks for the feed back.
  4. Anyone have any thoughts on the passau pro knee guards. I'm struggling to find a pair that are soft enough in the knee landing area to help my arthritic knees. I have the warrior 3x pro and even with some extra padding they give me sore knees after a game.
  5. Nope just some tubing I picked up at the hardware store . It's just wide enough to pass the two bungees through.
  6. At the for bridge I just ran the bungees through the rubber tubing tied a knot and then just ran the bungee as usual through the blade holder and fastened at the top of the skake.
  7. Although bungees stretch you still should have some slack at the toes like your laces did. I put a 3" piece of rubber tubing on mine and have no problems.
  8. Before you think I'm nuts keep in mind I have arthritis in both knees and hips having played goal for 50 years. I wear mcdavid compression shorts knee sleeve braces on both knees bracelayer pants and Bauer long pants with the built in knee padding then the warrior 3x pro knee guards. Seems like over kill but it's the only way to keep playing.
