Would that be Ranana?
How many Rinks in Israel now? I didn't know what hockey was till I got here at 12 years old, I did see baseball though. I played soccer hard-core and basketball as well. Traveling playing basketball was awesome though. Since I moved though I played the major North American sports, played high school basketball, football. But hockey took over now... love it. Are you Israeli or did you move to Israel?
So I moved here In 2014 and got into ice and roller here. I was playing a bit of floor hockey in the states.
Speak Hebrew fluently now (that was an ordeal)
drafting into the army soon which means I may have to put hockey on pause.

Awesome, you move by yourself or with family? Why you move?
Moved with the entire family. It is our homeland after all.
it was also my grandfathers dream to move to Israel but he passed away before he could move here.his grandkids are fulfilling his dream.

Yah I do live in Ra’anana moved here about 8 years ago, if I’m correct there are 3/4 rinks to play ice hockey in now. I started playing floor hockey in America before I moved to Israel and made the switch.

I'm the only Israeli here probably, we spoke on YouTube I believe a while back. I'm from Kfar Saba but live in Toronto now. I still go back every few years. I been in net now for maybe 10 years. I started in my late 20s, moved here when I was 12.
I live in the city next to kfar saba. Played for kfar saba for a couple of years before our team became the base of a new league in the new ice rink (one ice arena OIHL)

got called bcs my old team was in need of a goalie. So of course I joined.one of the other goalies happened to be Israel’s national team goalie. I’ll most likely be posting his warmup soon.

I’ve been skiing for 13/14 years.
my experience with ski boots have been hit or miss. You have to really try em on. You can’t just say I’m size 8.5 skate and that’ll do. (Which sucks for people who aren’t close to any hockey stores)
Loads of foward flexibility not too backwards. Really depends on how tight your liner is. Not much mobility in the other directions but at the same time very supportive.
walking in skates and walking in ski boots are two completely different feelings.ski boots and skates are 2 different things so the comparison shouldn’t 100% carry over but still.
I’m excited to see how these new skates feel.

First hyperlite stick broke after 6 months and it wasn’t even caused by hockey.
Delta somehow broke just the one stick in a stick bag with two other sticks. I’m not sure how they only broke only one stick (I’m glad it was just one) but I filed a report yesterday so hopefully I get word back in 2-4 weeks if they’ll replace it. Slightly pissed because that stick in particular was my #1 on game days.
Make most noise you can. The louder you are the more likely u are to get money back
