Did your buddy sharpie the pads for clout (embarassing) or did he receive them that way?
He received them that way
he was disappointed when I broke the news.
thanks @Chenner29

If you are looking for something to prevent neck cuts have you thought about taking cut proof material and making a cut proof layer for you neck?
something like a cut proof sock for you neck. -

I just bought my son a pair of HyperLite 'prototype' skates. Kinda unnerving to spend $700 on skates with no warranty.
These were the Hyperlite skates before the Hyperlite skates came out. Added plus is that they come with the steel.
The Hyperlite skates are about $1000 and don't come with any blade steel.
It's absolute madness!
I thought non goalie gear was 'cheaper'. LIES!
Jeeeeez, I could never wrap my head around why our gear is so expensive.
especially the stuff made overseas.

pads are baad quality. And the glove is always out of stock. News like slide plates is great but a almost a joke since they can not be bought. Warrior is a time thief.
Care to elaborate on your points?

I own 1S, in the summer I dry in the open air under the sun. no yellowing. I don't think ultraviolet has anything to do with it. probably higher drying temperature
How high of a too high?

My 1s pads have not turned yellow at all, and they have been used and abused.
-
I’m not going to lie, I thought those were 2 different pads.
have you tried a magic sponge? -
Ok but now the real discussion begins, who worse binnington Wilson or Marchand?
-
Pads have been bought! Thanks everyone for the help!.

Something isn’t lining up, I just remeasured and I’m a 18.5 FTK.
According to the chart coop posted I shouldn’t fit into a vaughn pad but i fit well in a 32.
Also according to the other chart I should fit into a 32 warrior pad now.
jesus I wish I had a goalie store in Israel.

That's right. One caveat is that Warrior runs small. Warrior goes from 18.75 to 19.25 for 32" and from 19.25 to 19.75 for 33". I would measure your FTK carefully, because if you are exactly at 19.25, you can fit into either a 32 or a 33 Warrior.
The problem is idk where exactly I should be measuring. Because if I’m really a 32 for warrior that would be perfect.
there is a 32+2 PVE Carbon on sale on SidelineSwap which I’m realllllly debating on pulling the trigger or not.
-
Last bit, I’m almost there. Tried on a 32+2 slr1
Knee stack fit well, thigh rise went too high. So by the look of it I need a 32 + 1 in any brand other than Bauer.

I feel like the PVE just showed up had two iterations and dipped.
anyone know what happened to the line?
also has anyone happened to use the PVE 1 or 2 and can talk about them?

It’s been 3 years but I’m finally returning to competitive hockey.
I’m currently playing in D2 hopefully moving up next season.
this was a friendly game where we played against a team a division higher than us.
