Warrior stick with the Quick/mid curve.  Felt so awkward and useless for me.  Could not play the puck at all.  That's the piece of gear I abandon the quickest........teehee.

For me it's the Bauer P31, CCM Crawford/182-2/P4, Warrior Bishop/TWT/W33 curves... I can't shoot with the banana!  Give me the nice heal-wedge curve of the P34.   I can get away with the Price curve, but I don't like the lie.

So I have been using th 590 now since Jan on the regular and i can say that the feel of the glove the pocket position feels more similar to what I had in my Gnetik. When it comes to catching the puck I feel as though I'm having similar issues to when I used a 590 last which my revoke set from a long time ago. I found that the 600 break somehow found the puck in the pocket a bit more where as the 590 I have more that tend to bounce and not funnel into the pocket. I haven't used my 600 since December which is about 12 skates so I'm going to wait until my season is done in March and continue to use the 590 and if I'm still not fully adjusted and the 600 hasn't sold I am going to do some switching during pick up to see if I can spot what is really happening. Overall feel wise though I prefer the 590.

Also the wrist strap in both gloves is basically redundant for me as i have it as loose as possible lol. I just tighten the glove down over my knuckles

It all depends on how you angle your glove to the puck and how it works best for you.  Back in the Koho days they sold the 580 and 590 on how you held the glove for max coverage (it was either out to the side of your knee or elbow high/glove down).

I prefer the 600, I tried a Optik2 and couldn't catch anything in the pocket.

    This looks bad on tv:

    Rear-View Mirror: What's Behind Bristol's Attendance Woes? - SBNation.com

Which isn't what tv wants to show:

    This is normal Bristol crowd:

Bristol Motor Speedway - All You Need to Know BEFORE You Go

Even Daytona was adjusted. All the grandstands along the backstretch were removed a few years ago.

Watch: Daytona Speedway backstretch tower implodes – Orlando Sentinel

Same at other tracks like Phoenix:

    May 2018 – Page 2 – AutoRacing1.com

But Daytona built a new grandstand that could set everyone on the front straight away instead of all around the track.

Catcher: pro plam, double - reinforced tee, added wrist strap

    Blocker: stock

Colors: Black, metallic gold & Vegas gray

  5. So my shop finally got them in... and I tried them on and we even baked them.

I was not impressed, mainly fitment... I have thick feet and we couldn't get the boot to wrap around my feet.  As for the buckles, we had to unscrewed the bottom one all the way out and it was still tight.  Then had to loose the top buckle a couple screw holes.

I didn't notice the "extra" flex; I'm wearing a set of Custom AS1 Tacks.

  6. I've never done the Keep33.... I don't like the idea of running water through the glove.

Here is what I do: place the catcher in a skate bake oven for 15 minutes... then put your hand in it and start closing & opening it.  Once it cools (like 15-20 minutes later)... tie it shut.

Also, after the skate, tie the glove shut and let it dry. Once it drys, untie it and open/close it for ~30 minutes.

Surprised the equipment manager didn't try a switch on him for the game

I'm sure those will go for a good penny online or at the team's salvation sale.

I wonder if he'll stick with Warrior gloves for the next set?

Is he headed to the AHL or back overseas after the preseason?  It seems like Warrior is more popular with the overseas pro's than in North America.

Been seeing a new, gigantic Xp logo on Vaughn gear lately.   I'm wondering if this is a V10 inspired logo for their XP gear

I wonder if Vaughn is doing the 2 velocity lines again?

This is what I mentioned. Very odd. No other company I have looked at has this.

I would be safe to assume that it for the "in stock" stuff and everything is either pre-cut for quick assembly or they may even have a few built set that are ready to ship.

Their Custom page doesn't mention anything about Full Right taking longer. https://passauhockey.com/en/sur-mesure/

Just heard Trav will be in the Fed which is hilarious to me because one of my teammates last year made a Fed team after we had a 3-44-0 season in the NA3HL. Clearly the bar is super low to get into that league and Trav barely scraped by getting on an expansion team

I bet they look at him as more of a marketing tool.

Is it true that the Bauer Mach’s aren’t the lightest pad on the market, I think I just saw that True 20.2 weigh 4.75lbs and the Mach at 4.9lbs.  Anyone care to confirm?

I wouldn't be over concerned about .15 lbs difference, that less than the weight of a tennis ball.

I would be more interested in a comparison of how much water/sweat they soak up.  I'd say try put the pads in a greenhouse mister and for 30 minutes and then weight them again.
