  1. I acquired a 5500 on sideline swap for cheap thinking I would include it in a re-skin project. So far just disassembly. I’ve picked up some goat skin to redo the inner glove as it was pretty sticky and crusty. This is my first glove project so I’m probably going to have questions throughout as well.

  2. I’m looking to re-skin some pads and was looking for materials. My first thought was maybe trying to find what eagle used for the pro-glo material. Does anyone have an idea on a supplier? Also, where do you guys source jenpro?

To each his own but I prefer the boot strap. I wear my pads pretty snug too. Good thing with the Warrior is that they are the best rotating pad Ive ever had and Ive gone through lots of sets. No issues there.

Not wearing the boot strap will not help the height of the knee stacks or the pad though. If anything, not having boot straps would allow them to slide down further making my situation worse.

I feel wearing the boot strap actually helps with the opposite problem as my 35+1.5’s are about 0.5 too tall on the landing gear, but the boot strap maintains the boot flex I need to stay on the landing gear, loose lundy loop or no boot strap should actually help your problem.

  4. Changed things up in my fibreglass 941 with a bit of the rust-oleum plasti-dip stuff and some automotive pin striping. Foam is vn with the Maltese sling I bought a few seasons ago. We’ll see how the durability goes and if it doesn’t work i’ll be back to a plain white mask.
