tyler
Trying to select a new high-end skate to buy for myself for the upcoming season as a 5'9 16u goaltender. I have severely flat feet and have struggled with foot pain in lower-end skates like my current pair of Bauer x2.9s. While I'm currently leaning towards True one piece skates, I'm debating between: True custom one piece skates True custom two piece skates Bauer Pro skates Bauer Ultrasonic skates Comments and new suggestions are welcome, anything helps
ZeroGravitas
Since you're young and still growing, a custom skate might not be the best option since you may grow out of it. Check out the True TF9 stock goalie skate. Very similar to the custom two-piece, but much more affordable as it is not custom. It should also come with a 30 day guarantee so you can try it on the ice and if you don't like it, return it to the authorized retailer and get your money back. Or return it if you like 'em and use the refund to get some customs?
