CCM HPG 13A Pant Loop Mod

Wanted to share this mod I cooked up this evening.
I got a pair of these pants a few months ago and my biggest complaints (besides the crap materials they use) was the lack of a skate lace tie down to tie my chest pad into.

Here is my workaround:

I cut two 7" x 2" strips of PadSkinz, folded them in half and sewed some loops onto them.
Then I took the shells and removed them from the waist pad, flipped them inside out, and started stitching them under the crotch pad.
Here is a look from the inside:

And here is the finished product from the outside.  I added two more loops out here.
