Yeah, he's made a great first impression on the city and it has gotten a lot of coverage in the media.  He has been in a town for a while now with several meet and greats and the ownership crew featured a brand new NHL Seattle themed zamboni in a local parade this past week.....it was once again painted with the salmon, seafoam green, black, and white colors.

Wow! Yes I'd like sport salmon and seafoam green on my pads please ...

  2. i'm not much of a beer snob.. not that anybody here is 😉 but for the most part my beer drinking days are few and far between. Use to get at least a 12 pack every time to the store now it's just six or less, singles of something. A 6 pack of Busch Light is good enough 😆.  Although when my girlfriend n I go to Gladiator games a few ice cold Molson's are always in order 🍻

  3. I've been away from playing for awhile about 4 years and latley as i scour all the equipment store websites the selection of brands is frustrating. I have 2 cheap Bauer sticks that i like but they'll need to be replaced soon.. i know i can get a couple more months out of them but they're going soft.

I want to try a new brand. I wish there were more brand options available. Saw a really nice Vaughn and the True's look good.

Looking for 25" paddle along the lines of a P30 or possibly PP41.

My favorite stick was an Itech stick patterned after Brent Johnson when he was on the Blues. That one always felt just right.

  4. 😀

Here is the blocker i wore with the reactors. I like the yellow on the blocker. The cuff was already cut when I got it. All this equipment still has lots of life left ... but we evolve into different equipment I guess.

Nearly 40 years have passed since the FIRST Atlanta team had left. Of course I have a sweater:

Total Awesomeness bunny! I met Dan Bouchard at one of the local rinks a few years ago. He still lives here. He told me one of his Flame's masks is hung up in a dentist office somewhere in the area. He was teaching goal the morning I met him. Had on Graf skates

  6. Im totally jealous Seagoal! Happy for you though.. enjoy!.. being in a place that lost one team then another! 9 years after i moved here for work sucks. It's a shame. .. stupid owners that didn't give a flip about the team or it's fans. We still have ECHL at least.

  7. Hey bunny, seagoal i was a little kid when we went but my parents took us to a Seals Canadiens game in Oakland around 1976 when they wore the auqa sweaters. Simmons vs Dryden that night. I remember touching Meloche's blocker when they were walking out of the dressing room.

  8. Hey guys I joined The Goalie Store bb during it's better days around 2003. I bought these pads from Paul's online store incorporated in the bb if i remember right. I used them for awhile then started using some Bauer's. Still have the Bauer's too. Reactor 5's. I can get some pics of those too and some other stuff i have.

These pads need some repairs 1 boot strap is broken and the knee lock on 1 is ripped up.
