Anybody have an idea what c/a Sabres goalie Dustin Tokarski is wearing and how he's wearing it? At 2:26 he looks mammoth and it looks real floppy underneath. 

Read an article about a team going back to Quebec or Hamilton and that the Coyotes are on the chopping block.  It's surprising they have lasted as long as they have. There use to be a member on GSBB that lived there and had more insight on the team. 

Mystery skate or Santa Claus boot? Whatever it is one things for sure... it's ugly.

I haven't been able to use any Bauer skates due to the toe cap being absolutely puny.

Check out the CCM tacks. While they'll be a lot stiffer than what you're used to, the overall fit and boot shape will be a lot closer to what you're currently in.

i agree totally with the Bauer toe cap space, it sucks. My skates have been Bauer, KOHO, back to Bauer and now currently for just about a year CCM Tacks 6092's 7.5 D and couldn't be happier. Stiff but not too stiff and roomy in the toe cap.

Perfect for the lower level i play in.

There's a guy that puts up videos of his games from behind the net on YT. I think his channel is called standup goalie? Lots of cool saves to watch.

I regret not kicking the shit out of some dumbfuck that sent one off the side of my mask during a warm up. I wasn't even directly behind the net either which made me think it was done on purpose...

Thanks for all the info. Coldest I've  ever been was in -9 on the tarmac of the Detroit airport .. I know I'm a  lightweight. What is chinooking? 

Anybody here in Calgary?  Looking at taking a trip that way mid January 2022 on my vacation to go to a Flames game. Is there a train or bus that stops by YYC?

Definitely get something for your pads even if second hand from a used sports store. Should be able to find something not too expensive.

I had to watch a few of them over to see exactly what happened like the first one. Georgiev is listed at 6'1" he seems more like 5'11" or 10

Haven't used Roku in awhile.. can't remember if it has apps or not. We have fire sticks and a bunch of apps.  One is NHL highlights. I'm not tech savvy but I think there is a way to stream things off your pc. 

I know I'm kinda late to the party.. but a lot of what you guys have posted in this thread really hits home. I'm 55 and still play usually once and sometimes a couple times a week. I felt like quitting all together about a week ago but the sting of my performance has kind of subsided and I will probably go back for more .. good thread 

I'm just sick of hearing these stories from women's gymnastics to NHL hockey player. The said assaulting individual always seems to get away with it during the commission of the crime. Like the drunk driver that never seems to die. Would be nice to hear a different outcome sometime.

The report is out leading up to and including the incident for anyone to read. I swear I don't know why Beach let it go so far. He should've slammed this guys head into the wall or floor whichever was closer. Is this Aldrich some kind of master manipulator or what?

Great ot in the Leafs Rangers game last night.. both goalies Shesterkin and Campbell made some great saves throughout the game. 

I hate falling into the unfocused mind space.  Where I start thinking everybody is looking at me or looking and laughing after soft goals.. that eats me up the most.
