  1. Hi all,

I’m posting in this thread because I have a similar issue, every mask I’ve had has not fit me perfectly, I’ve used a Medium Bauer 960, Medium CCM Axis, and now I’m in a small NME One, I play junior hockey in Canada and consistently get shots that just don’t feel good. I’ve been thinking about a custom Pros Choice, but so expensive. Anyone have any experiences with Pros Choice or advice in general?

  2. Hey everyone,

I'm a junior goalie from Canada and was recently told our league will allow us to wear uncertified cat-eyes for the first time this season,

I recently bought one online from Pure Hockey, it was a white cat eye made by OTNY for Bauer Profile Masks, looks incredible and vision is great but unfortunately it dented pretty good on the second skate I used it. I'm looking for a replacement and am trying to find one made by Bauer but unfortunately I cannot find white anywhere.

Does anyone have any recommendations on where I can find a senior Bauer Profile cat-eye in White?

    Thanks!

Konekt will not be on any websites as far as I know. It will be available exclusively at retailers because the skate must be baked properly.

7/29 was supposed to be the official launch date, so my guess is Friday.

Hoping this one is true I was planning on using my Bauer U to get them

Any link like this for Konekt? My true skates are absolutely destroyed and I'm waiting to order from the Bauer website as I have a code. This July release time I less than ideal

I believe it includes the pocket trap as well. Since I have a double tee, it's not as readily visually/physical apparent because the pocket portions are skinny. I'd recommend it if you're planning on keeping the catcher for a while and/or play a lot. It will make the glove a bit more difficult to close out of the box. Note that you'd have to go Pro Custom to get this spec.

    Thank you for the advice!

Yes. It is visually thicker in that area and you can physically feel the additional reinforcement in the tee. When I get to writing about the catch/blocker - hopefully tonight, I will have some pictures to show the difference.

Thank you! Would you recommend this spec? and does the reinforcement apply only to the top of the T not the actual pocket trap?

    Let the wait begin.

On Friday I submitted my full custom pro Mach digi-print set with a hyperlite chest w/ mach arms.

I've heard of some pretty fast turnaround from people as of lately. 🤞🤞🤞

If you don't mind me asking, what was the final cost?

    Hey guys,

I've been using a Brian's Optik2 90 degree boot for the past few seasons.  I'm potentially interested in looking at the new Mach line, but I don't have any experience with their 100/125 degree boot angle.  If anyone has info on the difference or your experience with the taller boot flex, that would be awesome.  Thanks.

I believe a steeper 125 degree boot will have the pads sitting lower and aid in pushing rebounds off of the toe into the corner

That would be too convenient😂 Gotta keep everything traditional and impossible to adjust on the glove!

But seriously that would be awesome. Getting new gloves can kinda suck to dial in because the tying pinky and thumb loops are really hard to work with.

The velcro thumb and pinky loops on the True gloves are definitely a small but so convenient touch.

On a similar note, I have had my knees bruise from landing in the butterfly. I used Vaughn Ventus LT80 knee pads (the listed size was senior). I found out that the front of my knees were covered, but there was no material covering the inside.  For right now, I've found a temporary solution by sewing some old socks into the inside edges of the knee pads. I don't know if it's a fit issue, or if the Vaughn kneepads just suck.

What models and/or manufacturers do you recommend? I've heard good reviews about the most recent Warrior knee pads.

I wear these from Bauer under my Optik knee pads and its been great. I picked them up at my local hockey store.

My guess is that the internals are off. I tagged the others as they are well-versed in mods and gloves. Dennis Dombrowski at Factory Mad is great at fixing gloves, as a non-DIY solution.

Had this same problem with my eflex 3 glove, unfortunately its a design flaw that ccm has significantly improved in recent models, I sent my glove to Factory Mad and it didn't 100% fix the issue but definitely helped a lot.

Hey man, will Bauer do custom arms only on this? I like my beefed up premier too much but the arms need a change.

I'm not sure, doesn't seem likely to me but I would go into your local store and talk to the manager.
