What drugs were Cooper smoking when they made that?

It is definitely a wierd glove and I wonder if it was even legal to play with that lol. I suppose there were no rules back in the day on gear specification.

You're too young to remember this. But the NWO / Wolfpack was as big as it got in professional wrestling in the day.

Oh boy ! haahah ! I am not even sure if our team's name is related to this at all ! I'll have to ask the captain !!!

  4. Ok sooo for my part, 2022-2023 plans are simple.

Just ended my crazy superbike photography season at my local track. Did around 25 events since mid-may. So I'll gladly take a rest during winter and shoot other things.

Playing with my official NWO Wolfpack team in a league where there is enough teams that you dont play often against the same, so it's almost always a new team. Also playing on saturday noon in a competitive but friendly pickup league where teams are ALWAYS even. I dont know how he does it, but it's the first time I see this :) He knows his players I suppose.

Also working on being the official photographer for the new LNAH team that arrived this year. Already photographed 2 pre-season games and got solid photos and very nice comments from the people around the organization and spectators also. Hoping the organization can find a bit of money for me.

Here are a few photos of their last game, if you are interested :

I just hope to keep playing this season.  I've been in another rut where I just don't care to play.  Would rather be home with the wife and kids.  My team is going to play in Lake Placid in December.  I have always wanted to do that.  I can't make it and it doesn't even bother me.

Placid, is it for the CHE Enterprise tournament ?

We went there before shit hit the fan and won the tourny in the 35+ division. It was a nice tournament, we had a lot of fun also after the games :P

  6. I'm still there, I'm still there ! Just had a crazy summer season of shooting superbikes at my racetrack. Been working almost 60h-70h/week since mid-may.

3 more weeks and the moto photography season is over, I will shoot hockey games once a week with an LHNA near Montréal, if things are going the way I want.

If you wanna see some shots I do, head over to Instagram and let me know what you think ! :)

  7. Hey by the way in anyone of you guys would like to have professional photos to "show off here" and that you are around the area on Montreal, Qc. Please let me know, we can arrange that very easily during on of your local games.

    Thanks ! :)  📸

Gonna have to keep your fantasies for another thread ;)

I work with 2 handles. RichMan (here, GSBB GBBB and Canadian Goalies) was what a boss called me many decades ago whenever we crossed paths or met up. Rich, short for Richard and Man for, well, The Man of course. I liked it and kept it since.

My second handle used on media platforms is Istop Lapuck. It's clearly a play on words and actions. When we were kids, there was this thing where we would make up names that represented a person's job or trade or career, and most often it had a cultural and accent connotation added to it, be it Russian or Asian or Italian or French. Most of them are French based given I was born and raised in the Province of Quebec. Example: Yvan Compter (il v'en compte), Alain Shutt (elle a un lance), Ella Kawatch (elle est la qui regarde), Iwatch Itoo (il regarde aussi), Tow Wing (towing truck driver), etc. Mine, Istop Lapuck (said in French that kind of has a Russian feel to it) came to me some 25 years ago and I've used it around quite a bit. It's fun and does get a fun reaction from folks in the hockey world :D

THIS happened this morning, it all ties in together, I will try to be brief

I changed the oil on my truck a couple weeks ago and usually put the used stuff back into the 5qt container but this time I couldn't find the 5qt container, so I bought 5 1qt containers. Instead of messing around with filling up the 5 1qt containers I left it in the big drip pan to take that over later and recycle. Well, the last time I played a game I emptied the bag to air the gear out and set my mask on top of an empty box which was next to that big drip pan with the oil in it. You see where this is going?

    fast forward to this morning

My wife needed a box to mail something, she looked at one then I noticed some in the back corner that looked better. When she got back there, I said watch out for the oil. Right after saying watch out for the oil, I hear "oh no!" I get back there and see her pulling my mask out of the drip pan, Thing got dunked in used 5w 30. It's not a high dollar mask (CCM GFL) but still. Couple of straps are stained now. It's drying out after using the blue Dawn dishwashing soap to clean it up. Will probably get a new harness which I was going to do anyway before, it's starting to fray a bit in a couple spots. 😣

The positive thing is that your mask cage won't rust ! hahaha !

Not gonna lie here Bunny, you're lucky I'm not a mod.

I'd ban you so hard for this massacre.

Have you ever seen the story of the guy who bought a custom Lefevre kit and realized after playing with it that it was finally too tall for him ?

The dude went to his local shoe-maker/cobbler and asked him to cut the pads to be shorter ... Man I gotta find these photos again. The job was awful !!!

  12. FOLLOW-UP

I sent an email to a local shop here in Montréal called ARS Sport with the photos. http://www.arssport.com/en/contact.html
I went there a few years back to replace my blocker palm and the bottom of my old goalie pads. They did an awesome job.

They replied back to me 2 days ago and they would be able to proceed with the repair by replacing the toe cap for 85$CAD with a 2 days delay for doing the job.

Looks like it's going to be the way I'll go for as it will be a pro repair and the job will mostly be guaranteed if anything happens soon after.
I'll keep you posted with another follow-up !
