Well I guess I'll give the dark side a try, a heavily modified try. Still picking specs for the pads as I've used CCM/ rbk/ koho since 06. Hyperlite glove with mack skin is a must. Has anyone had an issue with the new strapping being too tight? I don't have the smallest calf's and am worried that the strapping will be too tight for my liking.

Potentially a leaked graphic, it's somewhere in the 22-23 gear sitings thread
I'm hearing True is going to be offering pre-booked production slots through retailers again once the pro rush dies down, so waiting may not be the worst decision
Oof. Those are rough.... 12.2's it is haha

Does anyone have any information on a potential 12.3 line? Been pondering ordering a set of 12.2's (I can deal with the wait). But as seeing that they won't be delivered until next year, I am curious as to if there will be a 12.3 line dropping before next year. Thanks!

My 2.6 pulling truck was named the mad medic as I'm a paramedic by profession. And the truck had an inline 6 engine.

Has True resolved the usual Lefebvre glove issues? I tried a new full right set of CCM Premier II gloves in the pro shop at one of the rinks in my area, and the trapper was unbelievably stiff. That glove would not open, and closed with great difficulty. My Reebok Premier 24K regular set still wouldn't open all the way at times, even after 5 years of use for ball hockey.
I received my true 12.2 glove a few weeks ago. 580 pro palm straight out of the box was almost butter.

Sounds like order lead times are corrected and dialed in?
Was informed that if I wanted to put in an order for a new set that I would need too soon as the wait times are hiking back up to where they were last year.

Nice. They just emailed me today saying that my set should be shipping out to me this week as they are just waiting on it to get to their warehouse.
Good deal. I just got my tracking number email. So should be soon.

Which retailer did you order your set through? My order went in on March 28th but I don't think Pure had guaranteed production slots like some places did.
I ordered a custom 580 glove on march 20th from pure. Origin build date I'd May 30th. Got a call yesterday that it should be at the store Monday.

No way that happens
I ordered a true glove on march 20th. And was quoted 6-8 weeks as well. Got a email that they ran into supply issues with silver weave and my glove would be pushed back 3 months. Then got another email few days later that they sourced enough to finish my glove and that it has been cut and sewn. And it should be assembled soon. So guess it all depends.

Nice gear, but honestly am a little partial to the nice Sutphen fire truck.
Eh the Sutphen is ok. Our new Rosenbauer is way nicer.

The Warrior Pro + also have their carbon fiber plates in them for amazing protection. Have taken full college level clappers on them with no injury. They also tie in to your pants really nicely, at least in my Warrior Pants...........
Im in CCM hpg12a pants. Gotta grap a sock girdle tomorrow since I forgot to order a goalie girdle with the knee pads.

No problem. Make sure to let us know how it goes once they show up.
They arrived this morning. Fit Is pretty great. Able to get them snug without digging in or excessive hook hanging over from the loop portion. Thanks for the suggestion.

Nice, congrats. New gear is always fun. I think you'll like this if they fit. They have a great landing area that is really well padded that will give you a little bit of a height bump and the thigh protection is tremendous. These are considered to be the bulkiest knee pads in the normal retail market. I've been using them for a few years now and really love how protective they are. I have a narrow butterfly and take a lot of pucks to the knees/thighs.
How bulky are we talking? Last set I used were the koho swiss knee pads which were tanks.

I've got pretty big legs and generally have good luck with Warrior. I use the ones that came with my G5s but have used the Pro+ in the past with no fit issues.
Ordered a pair of the x3 pro+ so I guess we shall see. Thanks all.

Decided to get back on the ice after several years. I am a huskier fella with tree trunk legs. I went to a local peranis and tried on some CCM 1.9 and Bauer pro knee pads. Both were sr and I couldn't get much of the Velcro latched without being super tight. Does anyone have any recommendations for some knee pads for big legs? Passau showed l/xl were out of stock. Thanks

Guess I spoke too soon. Was able to order a 12.2 glove through pure goalie today. Now the wait begins.

What makes me sad is that they are only taking orders for complete sets. I'd love a 12.2 580 glove to match my gnetik5 set but no can do.
