  1. Have you considered the Goalie Win? I switched from Sam when I went into the Bauers. also, does anyone have an applicable chart of 3mm to 4mm ROH comparisons? Or would be able to give me an applicable comparison?
  2. Also threw superfeet in mine and it does help a bunch. I also came from Bauer EE and then had four pairs of custom trues, and I have had zero issues with mine after baking correctly and a couple of minor tweaks. I am fortunate enough in the fact that I have access to a skate bake oven whenever I want, so baking a couple times was no big deal. Elaborating on the “feeling flat” comment above, I believe it was Ullmark (could be wrong) who added spacers on the heel (similar to what true does on the back of theirs) in effort to get his Bauers to feel closer to the trues. This is something I’m currently looking into doing for myself as I feel very flat in my konekts.
  3. On the bright side, you’re getting a product that will last. The other nice thing on Brian’s is that you can get away with one glove (even their game ready is doable) and never feel a stinger rather than having to get a practice and game ready set. I’ve always had a soft spot for Brian’s gloves and I think that it’s one of the things that they really excel in, and I personally think they really nailed it and crushed it out of the park with this one. my breakdown for an nhl factory true set was 1k per glove, $750 per blocker, if that’s any solace
  4. Well that’s the thing, yes, new line and new graphic helps to break it apart and gain traction in the store, but this glove really isn’t based off the gnetik/iconik line and isn’t an optik feel, either. You can distinctly feel those lines in gloves in Brians. Completely different, completely separate, 580 done better than the guys who originally made it. Just makes sense to me.
  5. Changing the graphic to match is normally not an up charge considering you have to custom order these already. it’s meant to be a stand alone line, different from the others. So why wouldn’t they have a different graphic on it?
  6. This may be a little bit better video showcasing closure, albeit short. it is definitely a 580. A real one. And truthfully, felt better than an NHL factory True 580 to me. recorded-4451780079418.mp4
