I think you make Phoenix go back to their old style jerseys, Anaheim to their new-old thirds, LA back to purple-based jerseys, and this team either an emerald green of some kind or Seattle's signature navy/bright green. Add some memorability to the Pacific. Would boost jersey sales.

So VE8 pads have a penis. The VE9(?) has a mustache. What is Mike Vaughn trying to tell us?

What legal reasons would that be?
Potential lawsuits for majors and fights? I'm not really too sure to be honest. We're non-USA Hockey, so i think it's a rule from the commissioner's insurance company.

No I do not have a pro photographer at all my games. We get one or two games per season. Every team in the league gets at least one, some more than others. I think my team got two or three games plus our two playoff games. This was the first playoff game. Still waiting on pictures from the championship game to be posted.
Lucky! Due to legal reasons my league doesn't have video or photos. Even LiveBarn is blacked out during league games. It's such a bummer because I want to see what I look like in my gear during a game.

I don’t think team logos are meant to be backwards...
Neither is the way your gloves go on. Zing!

No wonder the Eflex is taking in so many Vaughn goalies.

Ah, Kipper spec. Never had another glove quite like it. Depending on how you positioned your hand when tracking a shot it could be black hole for pucks, or it could be a second blocker. If I ordered this again today, I'd probably mod the back hand cuff to be a bit wider and more flexible. Maybe a double tee too.
I feel like the XR V7 glove is like a fusion of parts of this glove and a CCM 600 break.

Nice set but that stick looks huuuuge.
I think it's the camera angle mixed with a white stick against the navy weave. Looks around 25-26'' in the first picture.

So a bit of an update: PAW is going to construct me some custom knee blocks (doing the bump-style, like on a Reebok/CCM style pad), but is currently not doing installations. Is there a place that would be able to put them on my pads once they are complete?
On 6/8/2018 at 8:22 AM, SaveByRichter35 said:I actually wanna do the same thing. My knee lock elastic on my V6 has become pretty flaccid and the extra padding I spec'd in the knee locks have been flattened out and no longer offer much comfort. I've been wanting to do have the padding replaced for a little while now, I should have done it when had almost a month off between seasons. The elastic I could probably just order from them and replace it on my own but I cannot figure out how to change it without opening up the entire flap. However, if its this long to get gear I can only imagine how long it would take to repair used gear. Though I have had good experiences in the past sending gear back to Vaughn for updates.
Can you post pics? My knee blocks had a way to get in there. All you need is tougher lace and a lighter to sew it back up if it has a tab.

I would email Sara, maybe that outside gear was a disclaimer to protect herself?
Rebound Althetic Repair is an old total hockey guy in STL
There’s also Great Saves in chicago. Used him a bunch
I've had Sara fix a blocker and glove before, so I'll definitely see if that's an option

I wouldn't recommend Bay Area to my worst enemy.
I don't even think Essan does much of the patch/repair work anymore.
Nah, but I guess he must have had a good experience, oddly enough. Good to know though.
Thanks guys!

You can email PAW to see if she's willing to take it in, she might.
Rebound Athletic Repair (they're on Facebook, based out of St Louis)
Canada:
Mike at Kenesky (Toronto)If you'd like, post or PM me some pics of what you are thinking of doing; I might be able to walk you through it if you think you're willing to do it on your own.
Awesome, thanks! One of my friends recommended Bay Area Hockey Repair too.

I was thinking of sending in my V7's to have the knee blocks changed.
Anyone know if Vaughn does that?
And would the wait time be like their custom orders?

their manufacturer thinks that glove breaks are only just a gimmick.
Not to get all critical on this, but how did they reach this hypothesis? 580 glove break definitely closes in a different way than the other breaks. 600 and 590 do feel similar to me, though.

My IR sheet:
-Groin pull in January 2009
-Groin pull in October 2010
-Groin pull in November 2010 [AKA RIP junior career]
-Hamstring strain/lower back issues in June 2013 [due to malnutrition from a prolonged stomach virus of sorts]
-Groin pull in July 2017
-Groin pull in August 2017
I've been battling tight hips for a while, and have never felt the same since 2013. I felt amazing for a while in 2012 and early 2013. I do a lot of standing at my job, and don't do the upkeep I should given my history. Lately I've had these weird, achy hips last two months. One side feels "burny" when I stretch it too much. Between that and the emptiness I feel when playing the last year and a quarter I've been in constant debate to hang up the pads. Feels like a chore sometimes, and yet I do it still. That and captaining a team is a pain in the ass.
