I did... Had no issues.. Uber comfy too.

Removed it for a Maltese kit (wish I never did tho)

Where did you get the poron? Mcmaster-Carr has regular poron in diffrent densities but not xrd. I found a xrd kit used for longboarding/ skateboarding.

An alternative would be to use a 1s/2s glove which presents more open to the shooter. IMO opening up the 1x negates all the advantages of the 1x in the first place (namely, puck handling and puck security when covering, plus finger leverage on closure). But I suppose if you're in love with that break angle, it's an option.

ya just got the glove and just finished a game with it. I noticed that the curl did help with puck handling but was a bit too excessive on finger actuation. Just opening it up a bit will make the similar to what I'm use too.

Dennis over at Factory Mad can definitely do it. In fact I had to just about talk him out of doing mine when he was going in to replace a broken cuff.

Pretty sure Sara over at PAW isn’t doing any further repair work like this. She’ll make accessories etc and build you a new set of her own... but no luck on that sort of thing.

It was a prostock glove w/ a supreme finger protection and cuff. Ill see what my skate shop can do, the glove was cheap but came with a rip on the T.

I need a little survey (even though I know it comes down to personal preference, but different makes equals different takes) to see if you wear your 1X skates:

    A) Tight
    B) Loose
    C) A little snug

After 2 hours of hockey last night with wobbly skates, poor mobility control and really sore chewing at the ankle bones - in 30 years of playing nets I've never (aside from my beginnings) had a wonky feeling standing in my skates. Sucks!!!

I got x900 and tie them tight. Sometimes not tight enough and have loose ankle every now and then.

You can always use tape like Biron lol

@IPv6Freely Do you have a fit 3? I was recently trying masks in a store and fit 2 was too snug for me. The 960xpm med/lrg fit well though.

Anyone have an idea if med/lrg 960 or 950 is comparable to NME fit 3?

I found that that the nme fit 3 leaves a noticeable backplate gap compared to a profiler m/l. But then again I have a big head

Not to get all critical on this, but how did they reach this hypothesis? 580 glove break definitely closes in a different way than the other breaks. 600 and 590 do feel similar to me, though.

The explanation I got was that there was only about a 15° change between the index and the thumb and  about a 4° at the palm when getting different glove break (between a 60° and a 75°).

  6. Yesterday was a long day but if I recall properly they are manufactured in Canada. The pads are surprisingly light, the thigh rise is a bit bulky in comparison to G3 and SLR's i have demoed previously.  I have tried their flat face 35+1 and 34+1 pads and couldn't get the pads to sit on my foot like my Bauer pads do, resulting in my leg sliding down the pad when going down in butterfly. This could me addressed by a boot strap and a different boot angle. The catcher only comes in a 60 degree break for both the two and single piece cuff, the reason i got was that their manufacturer thinks that glove breaks are only just a gimmick. I found the blocker a bit too bulky than my current one, but offer both a binding and bindingless options.

    hope this helps!

Just got the 2S Pro stick. Did not use it yet. Think the labelled sizes being so different among manufacturers is annoying? How about difference for even the same brand and sort of same model line...

My old Bauer Supreme NXG at 26-1/2", vs Supreme 2S Pro at 26".... will they be the same paddle length? Of course not!.... The 26" is like a whole inch longer!

Duno... do I just happen to get an odd one or should I go with 25" 2S Pro instead? Will the 25" be like 3" shorter than 26", eh?

lol i had the same problem when upgrading my vapor x:40 (which broke) to a 1s. I just adjusted my game/ stance rather than moving back to my backup vapor xx. In comparison to the 1s, the vapor xx was too heavy.

I am absolutely furious with Bauer right now. At first they said 60 days or about 8 weeks so I’m ok with that so I ordered them April 16th so should’ve gotten them about June 5th right? Wrong!!! After emailing back and fourth with a Bauer rep I found out it would be July 5th. This is because Bauer has an 80 day “lead time” they did not feel like telling about. Well guess the waiting will continue over the summer...

lol to me that kinda sounds like Bauer from what I've been told about their costumer support . I've been also told by Bauer that zipper teeth falling out isn't regarded as "manufactures defect". I also went to my pro shop to ask if they could contact their rep for some help with a new zipper at least, they said the same thing to them. It doesn't help that almost all of my gear is Bauer, never had problems with them until recently.

Is it opaque vinyl? I use scraps whatever I have at work. Usually Avery transparent and translucent vinyl.

    I can help with that!

OK thank. Saw a pair of prostock, the lack of colour was a bit misleading & the seller told me that they were supremes. I'll probably get some 1s on sale then
