I agree. I wonder what current JRZ users will look for when it comes time to replace their gear. There are also the big boys, but I'm not sure how the modern Kenesky or McKenney pads compare to JRZ.
I used fuzion 1 and fuzion 2 and my next custom gear would be brians again... nothing is better than primo for sliding. not even bauer

If the one level down Konekt is around $500, I think I'll give them a go.
it is the senior price yes !

Jrz or passau do 580 glove at cheapest price

Andrei Vasilevskiy - (Tampa Bay Lightning)
Jake Oettinger - (Dallas Stars)
none of the other are elite goalie for me so i don't see them as influence... Maybe Spencer Knight in 3 years

Skated last night, still got pain in the same pain points after the third (?) bake. Not as bad as pre-bake.
Skated today, put in Superfeet and while they killed my arches for about half an hour, the pain was mostly gone by the end of it
Continuing on testing these things...maybe I bought my Step steel too early
I have flat foot ! Got pain for my 7 first game !! I change my sock.. so had thick supreme sock. My friend give me his Vapor sock. They are thinner and I don’t have any pain now !
sometime it’s something stupid to change

Maybe Brian's operates on the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" philosophy. I wonder if it is possible to spec a Brian's pad to get Bauer-like rebounds.
I don’t thing so… I’m pretty sure the core of the pads can be similar but the difference come from the cortech vs the jenpro I thing… jenpro absorb a little bit more the puck
I understand thé if it ain’t broke , don’t fix it but if you want to convince me to spend 3500$ cad on a new set please give me some news feature…

They bring back optik 1 strapping fine I like it
I don’t see any major modification on the pads like bauer and ccm with the new knee block … why ?
It’s look like a optik 2 with optik 1 strapping for me with a new ugly design

Try giving it a couple more skates. Mine felt really tight and had pressure spots the first time out. 2nd time out was much better and 3rd time out I had no pain at all.
Second game I feel 60% less pressure point you are right

First skate today
To start I’m normally use 7.5 fit 3 bauer
konect the size 8-8.5 was my perfect size
the angle with the skate is fantastic I feel I’m more than ever ready for the shot I’m ready to attack the play I really like that.
i don’t know if it the ice or in my head but I feel to connect more with the ice and win ton of power
At store the skate was perfectly fit it’s was incredible. Today on ice I feel lot of pain. It’s was like the skate in store was a fit 3 and at my game they come back at a fit 2. The guys at store already tell me I can come back anytime to bake them a second time but I don’t know if you experience something similar
i play tomorrow and Friday so I will wait until my games before going bake them again

Curious. One would custom spec the Hyperlites to be stiffer? What customizer options would I need to choose, to get a Hyperlite to play like a blocking pad (stiff pad, hard rebounds)?
The hyperlite pads is not soft enough to be called a hybrid pads. For me a hybrid pads need to have some torsional flex at the knee like gnetik / V9 / 12.2 and eflex
for me the hyperlite pads still a blocking pads but the major difference come from the hyperlite flex with a pad like a S . That help you to close your narrow butterfly. With the 2xpro and supreme it’s was hard for a beer league goalie to close perfectly the butterfly if he doesn’t have a good hip mobility

You'll do to select the Pro Custom option in order to do it but:
Construction: Hyperlite
Pad Specs -> Flex: You can choose any flex you want, but Hyperlite is the softest.
Pad Specs -> Knee -> Knee Block: Whatever you want.
You wouldn't be able to spec a Surpeme-style stiffer boot, though.
I believe your 2S Pro are considered Stiff - same stiffness level as Mach.
Perfect answer here
the only difference is the angle of the boot ! You can’t have the 120 dégrée with the hyperlite but you can choose to have a thicker pads like supreme

Couple of questions for clarification, so any custom order does not allow for the stock calf setup, pillow, she’ll shape, etc? Or is it just an option to go NHL spec or retail stock spec?
I know the goalie community hates Trav4Oilers on YouTube, but he got the retail pads and hated them. Made a point in his video to say no NHL goalie likes them and they are just all wearing hyperlites with the Mach graphic. My assumption would be that pros don’t want to experiment with a new pad in season and more pros will be in Full Mach come next season. Is this a bad assumption?
I have a set of retail Machs coming and I’m excited to try some of the new features on it.
I talked with some guys at my local store since I used the Mach demo and they all suggest people to use hyperlite pads with stiffer option and the Mach skin
they hate the new sliding material and except if you play in a pro level you don’t need a Mach stiff pads in a beer league
im already curious about the next Vapor line next year if they will stay with the new sliding material or not

6ft 200lbs i use large pant
34+ pads
seriously I really like them I use them with my hyperlite chest. I don’t tuck and wear chest and pant pretty loose I want maximum mobilite
i had some Murray slr pro return and I find my retail bauer pro as the same protection
the new ccm pro pant are garbage ! Got 3 bruise in 2 month all at same spot.

Any reason m5pro didn’t have the Color custom like 3x ?
seriously I don’t see a lot of difference between m5pro and Mach except you can choose your Color with the customized from Mach
