Netnewbie
Hey all I interested in removing some of the straps from my pafs and was wondering which I can do without. Also is there any thing I can add to outside of the internal leg pad to make it more slippery when trying to butterfly slide.
loki1416
Just to clarify for those who do mod: Do you want to remove the straps completely and have nothing there or do you want to replace with elastic and velcro?

Would like less straps to make it easier to do up. Elastic might be am option, never thought of that...
loki1416
@Netnewbie Here's some stuff to get you started until the replies come in. And some ideas. Particularly look at the 5th picture in "Mek's Random Mods" at his strapping setup.

You can easily go down to one strap at the knee, maybe one or two at the calf. Depending on how handy you are, you can add elastic and velcro straps to eliminate more, depending on how you like your pads to feel. Sliding edge, you can apply Ice Kream from GoalieParts or Sliding Polish from Passau (same product).
