dnovak
Finished up this mask for a local bow hunting tendy. He wanted something that has a hunting/Canada vibe. It started with his nickname ‘Foddy’ on the chin, moves up to a pencil sketch of a moose on one side and a deer on the other, and then some arrows on the top. Trees are used to break up the different parts and bring in the nature feel. The outlines are sketched in to go along with the pencil sketches of the moose and deer. Lastly, crosshairs are ‘frosted’ over the white areas for more of the hunting idea. The red, black, and white colour scheme is used to give it the ‘Canada’ look and tie into the colours of his gear.

Love it. Bow hunters are a different breed. I definitely don't have the patience required that those guys do.
