That might have been me -  shame GSBB kind of disappeared. I spent a lot of time on that site for a number of years. Did you have Richter in your GSBB name too?

I get branding and consistency and all of that, but there's something to "the customer is always right". Especially when:

• The customer is already spending $$$$ on a custom order
• It's a very small change that has zero ramifications
• The flip really makes sense, and looks better

I ordered custom in the summer of 2013 on a set of V5s/Vision glove and managed to get the logo rotated because it annoyed the crap out of me. Definitely a bit inconsistent.

I'm a man of simple taste, basically unchanged from my current G4 ^^

Thanks for the teaser Glad to see they brought back the jenpro along the top edge on the back side. The nylon was wearing through way too quickly.

I tried the OPTIK2 pads and gloves today to see if I wanted to go with the G5 or OPTIK2 - I gotta say, the warrior pads are so much light and feel more natural to me on my legs. Looks like I'm going to go with G5 pads + blocker with the OPTIK2 glove. Please keep us posted!

Kudos to @Kirk3190 , Steve and the team at Warrior for an amazingly quick turn around on these.  It was only 33 days between time my order was confirmed and when these arrived.  I just have to push a little harder in therapy so my PT will cut me loose a week or two early and I can get these on the ice!

Good question - I'd be curious to know too. Also, I presume g5 will get the "classic" graphic too right?

Took a few years off after college. I have a real soft-spot for vintage looking sets.
Just sold these Vaughn V5 7990 (pads + blocker) with 9580 gloves. 
Have been using these G4s for the last year and a half and can't wait for the G5s
