Same size thigh rise as my Vaughn SLR 36+2 pads.  Almost 9.5"

I have never used skate lace before. I ordered my G5 glove with a single T and black skate lace and black T. I’ve never had any issues with lucks popping out with my nylon lace.

I think that I would go with the black T and the purple binding.  I am not much of a fan of the purple on the palm of the glove personally.  I would actually pick the regular graphic over the more traditional one but I think it is because I prefer having the "W" logo and I blacked out the written out "Warrior" and "R/G5" on the pads that I ordered.  Either way that retro graphic is pretty clean.

I currently have some Vaughn sr level stuff and have absolutely no issues with it at all and really shouldn’t be replacing my pads at all. I just wanted to be able to customize some pads and my reason is just because I can. 

Ive been in a situation in the past where I was told that I was playing too much and needed to cut back or quit altogether, so who’s to say in the future if I’ll be able to have the money to spend on new senior gear let alone the custom pro stuff.

That’s hard, either way I think it looks great. I’m personally a big fan of matching sets but having solid gloves would look good. I would probably go with a matching set if you are already going to custom order, but the difference is so small I would be happy with either. 

Any other color options you can think of with the black base (and weave thrown in) with accents of the gray?

I’ve been following the G5 threads on here and have been thinking about pulling the trigger on a custom set and wanted to share it here first. 

Not sure about martching the entire set or blacking out the gloves
