Yes!!! - Kraken. After years of having to endure "Canucks" finally, some sports regalia I would consider buying!

What is a Kraken? Whats gonna happen to the ice if the refrigerant is too cold?

With all the pro teams out there currently going through name changes due to the recently rise of anit-racialism (if that's a word), I would suspect that any new team considering a name would put a lot of forethought in.

Unfortunately, I suspect the teams doing the renaming will profit from it - all the new-team-name swag to sell will surely bring in even more profit....

The NFL is tryna pressure the formerly known as the Redskins owner to sell likely for a loss so I don’t know profitable it really is for that guy.

Now days there must be careful to not insult anyone and have no any signs of race or gender.. And have compassion to sexual minorities..

    So right name should be:

    #Seattle Neutral Gays

The most unoffending name would be Seattle all inclusives.

@Dumpy That's what I wrote. I remove inner belt before I try tuck C/A inside the pants so it wasn't an issue.
I'm not sure if you're familiar with how Warrior pants are build but the front triangle shaped flap I marked in red cirlce in initial post is saw in to the pants. I stays there even after removing internal belt.

Because of that part I can't tie the chest unit comfotably to the pants and that's I asked for anyone who actually uses Warrior pants and tuck their C/A into them. Especially if they are using Warrior/Bauer 2X combo.

Aha! Somehow I misread my bad. I got those pants. I tuck fine, but my chesty is form fitting and no breaks in the seams like on a chesty made to be worn outside but that flap could be removed and youd have more room. Having the body break too close to the waist would make it pop out. Depends on how high your kidney protection rides up over your chesty. Just save that bit for resale or if you find removing it aint helping. Sorry about the misunderstanding

  5. Just thought of this as I got the same pants have you though of removing the internal belt cause I removed mine for extra comfort cause im short and Dumpy you might do better tucking with removing the internal belt cause that bit in the front is protective.

  6. Im a gear dummy here but you have to make sure your chesty fits tight to the body as well to tuck kinda like if your an athletic fit in dress clothes and you wear a average or portly shirt and try to stuff it into your athletic fit suit or dress pants. I sold mens dress wear through college and even part time for years til people stopped dressing up for work. Damn you dockers!

    Time and eBay... go!

Is that a pair of Aeroflex pads ending soon?

I just took your advice mth My buddy has kinda matching gloves for these pads and told me I can buy his gloves if I get the pads. Logos are different, but the eras are close. I payed a little much for these and will need to use my buddys pad strap puller to install leather straps but there in pretty good shape I could use my buddys  plotter and print some old vaughn logos for the knee rolls but that would kill originality and modified stock gear is worthless unless a famous guy mods them LOL

  9. Used to love when my NHL easports games would let me  trade for Brodeur or Grant Fuhr and theyd still be in there old lid. That was the ultimate new team same gear.

  10. This is a great thread my vintage collection is too small to mention except I am working on a Jofa combo to wear. My buddy rehabbed some older kohos and i may end up with them.

@Dumpy love your mods but since I’ve never used one of these straps I love the inventiveness of @ThatCarGuy to give this a whirl. I have my broken in G4  bootstraps 🤔

I tried ditching my bootstraps all together with my G5’s but for some reason I just don’t feel as safe though the time I tried it my pro laces came loose so maybe I’m worried about nothing.

I can’t take credit, my buddy did these mods. My buddy was doing these for a modding exercise and he’s letting me get these when he’s done. He is wanting to start doing mods as another service he offers. I have used professor straps for a long time. If a pad is strapped the right way you dont need it but most pads arent tight enough on the calf below the knee which is why you use professor straps.

After reading through the entire thread regarding this I finally pulled the trigger since my PAW neck guard was getting small

That’s a nice lookin neck guard. I got my buddys hand me down factory mad that just wont quit looks the same as the day I got it. You got that bnq certification so no trouble from the refs I asked my buddy who coaches why the kid forwards have to wear them silly collars its cause its the rules. If you ask me those collars are superficial protection unlike what a goalie wears. That neck guard looks comfy.

  13. Browns have alot of plastic right. That’s what makes em really protective. Just moved out of an old Vaughn that should be for street hockey into a Bauer 1X my buddy had and beefed up he just got a NOS Rbk P2 that he had factory mad beefed up. I wanna try a Brown and Im sure there worth the money but its hard to argue with barley used hand me downs.

After many many ice times with my G5’s I’m tempted to remove the knee strap in favor of a professor strap. The knee block is stiff enough and I feel like a professor strap would greatly benefit the way these pads play for me

My buddy’s doing that to my pads. Fake ice fly preliminary felt pretty good.  The one on the left got schooled by the professor. He rigged it up pretty good.
