Just made the order today. Full all white set. I got the 32+2 because I measured like 100 times and it's what the said should fit me. I also added the goalie shoes they have online too. They looked decent and he'll why not. I can't wait to try them. 

I played tonight and all I could think about is the new gear lol threw me off my game

My revised order now looks like this:

1) Extra Rib Protection;

2) Segmented (Multiple Breaks) with Heavy Plastic;

3) Asking if it is "possible to have the shoulder lifts made so that it can be easily removed? Like using velcro and/or laces?"

4) Asking for a shipping cost if delivered to Hong Kong. If it is too much, I'll ask my wife to bring it back for me, and;

5) Extra Bicep Protection (no extra charge because it is standard on the 2400CA).

I think this is about it. I thought I was going to go all out and get everything but it appears that might be overkill and a risk on losing too much mobility.

Ya that's the same as mine except the lifts. But talking to people i opted not to. I'm sure you could home make something if you wanted also.

He was a few days with me too. Usually late at night too. He's probably super busy I bet. If not let me know I'll shoot him a message also

He responded all weekend with me but it was later in the day. He was also on vacation the week I ordered so that might have been why he was responding and making sure he had the info. Even got me to wait to pay because he wasn't around. I thought about other stuff to add but i figured I'd try this out and see then if I wanted something else after having enough experience with a Brown I'll get another and sell this one. Doesn't seem like I'd have an issue moving one and the money loss to me would be worth it if I wanted something else

Did you request any mods to your order?

Not too much. Went with the russian spec segmented floaters, extra bicep and rib protection, measured all my upper body and arms for him, and I think that was it. Im hoping it fits well. If i need something different ill just adjust off this one. I cant wait to try it

Probably less. Ontario is pretty close to NS. Usually 2-3 days Canada Post. I have tracking I'm hoping it's here for Thursday hockey 

Mine was shipped out Thursday or Friday. They sent me this. Love it

Just seen that. After talking with Passau i definitely need the 32" so I don't think I could fit that. They said it would be ready in a week or so. I'm just still debating on a color but I'll likely go white

Quick question before I write back to him. Regarding the Width of the Shoulder Wings, how many of you went with "Standard", "+0.75" or "+1.50". I am deciding between "Standard" and "0.75". Will the ).75" be noticeable enough to be worth the extra (the +1.50 is $39.95 so I think the +0.75 will cost the same)?

I just went with standard. I didn't get mine yet it's shipped out to me. It looks big already and i don't like too much bulk that's not needed.

I went order monday and they were both out of stock of one part of a black and white set. Trying to decide if I should be a white or black set now. Life is hard

Well I've been playing goalie my whole life. Mostly ball hockey and the obvious street hockey when younger. Just never played ice more than a handful of time till last year. Decked out in Vaughn gear though. Gotta have it. Very user friendly I find

I would absolutely get the segmented shoulder floaters.  They're exactly what they sound like, segmented so they stay more contoured to your body.  Helps with mobility.  

Nope didnt order till tomorrow. They were on vacation last week so they said send it in the following week. I am going segmented like you said because it was what all the ones I tried on were. I love the way this VE8 fits and plays like just a bit too small (hes making the arms longer than normal) and I want one that will last a long time even if its a bit heavier. Any other input is welcomed, Im still new to ice goalie

That's what I'm thinking. Monday I'll order some and shouldn't take long to ship here in NS. We play Mondays right now so likely use them next week. Can't wait

I was fortunate enough to try on the pads, and I must admit they were awesome. I took a few shorts and was able to test them. Very mobile and light I slid like butter. If I can muster the cash I think I will buy a set.

The rep I spoke with was super patient with my questions and she knew her stuff so that also helped me get informed.

And with the creation of the NBHL I think ball hockey gear will finally advance!

 

 

When you tried the pads on what size fit you do you remember? I use a 34+2 Vaughn VE8 but when I measure for the Passau ball ones it says 32+2 will fit. Not too sure. Must be right

I decided I'm buying some Monday. Waiting back to hear if they think they can make a similar Pekka Rinne pattern because i wear his dark jersey when i play usually. If not I'm going all white. 

This is why i can't see new products for hockey. I always want them

I have about 5-6 times. It took a bit to get use to a bigger chesty (my other old one was literally nothing) but I like it. I'm hoping it gets a little more loose in the upper area so it's easier to quickly look down but like I said I've been pretty spoiled with mine but I needed bigger.

Only thing i don't like is that the throat is too close to my neck and it runs it a bit. I like it because I took my dangler off not needing it anymore. 

Overall i like it a lot and I'd recommend it. It's crazy light. Like insane light feeling.

Great setups. Lots of good ideas. I'm starting to realize me with my basement rec room with half a dozen different types of gear goalie/player/ball hockey/street/pond etc is for peasants. I need to upgrade. Will update with progress once my life is back to normal. Building a house and moving is a nightmare

I just finished building a house. Has an attached garage and a detached garage. Trying to decide how to setup a hockey gear sport to setup my gear to airdry etc. Whats is your setup like?

I hate Kane. Worked with someone related to him years ago and man he's a POS from the stories I was told. But this one smells like BS. I'd say his ex is a train wreck
