  1. Here is the Bauer leg pad line up for season 24..
  2. Not from my experience with them. I found them soft, but definitely not as soft as slr3 pros.
  3. The m5 pros were never really stiff, but yes. 1 senior mid price point pad.
  4. Not necessarily. They condensed the pads down to the x5 pro. There will be two gloves available at the middle price point. The x5 pro supreme and x5 pro vapor. Same graphic though.
  5. There will be 3 levels of retail goalie states 5x4,7x4, and the 9x4 along with custom one and two piece. The heels are reinforced with a protective pad over them. And the sides mimic the custom skates. The new insert in the heel/ankle is supposed to mimic the articulation of a konekt.
  6. I believe he's used graphicless prototypes in the past for lefevre.
  7. I plan on testing this as my ef6 are emboss and I ordered solid on the xf's
  8. Hopefully these turn out as good as my 12.2's did. It's going to be weird going to a pad without weave on it....
  9. The all out customizer isn't even available to the public at the moment. But if you're in the total custom then there will be less options for spec...
  10. The floaters definitely feel thicker and bulkier as they aren't as segmented around the shoulders. I forgot to measure the thickness between the two before I shipped the 18 to the new owner. The arms were a little stiff the first period of play but after that it felt a lot better.
  11. After getting to use this thing I can say it fits bulkier than the 18. My only gripe so far is that the wrist straps are nylon with not much room for adjustment as opposed to the old elastic one.
  12. For those interested, the qmss2 is adjustable internally now as well. Instead of being sewn in like the axis 2 and ef6, it velcros to the internal calf strap and can be adjusted internally and externally.
  13. I'll post the arms side by side later. Im at my full time job until tomorrow morning. But these aren't special orders so not available without the additional flap.
  14. Fit for fit to the 18ab is the same. Though the new unit has a additional 4" of soft foam sewn to the bottom of the abdomen , like the removable part of the ef6 chesty (not removable on pro spec).
  15. I'd say the price is comparable to beefed up custom units from Bauer.
  16. Here's a little side by side comparison of the older ccm ab18 pro chesty and the new ccm prospect chesty. I purchased this yesterday at work so now I can talk about it. The units weight is almost identical. The floaters in the new unit are not as segmented and are stiffer, they also seem thicker. I'll get measurements when I can today. The abdomen seems similar but the new unit has the air mesh from the ef6 which I hope gives better breathability and cooling. The backplate is a soft perforated foam and is lite and flexible . And the arms are almost identical to the older unit. They did however tie in the elbow cup to the cuff strap.
  17. Well now that it's officially in my possession after a day of poor financial decisions. It was $750 USD. I'll be doing a side by side with the older pro spec ab18 when I get home.
  18. It's weird seeing them list the maxcore as a x-stiff core compared to the new core. But the xf is a single internal/no outer break pad. I haven't seen any in person so I'm just speculating at this point.
  19. New axis core will be infinite rebound stock.
  20. I'm staring at 3 of these units at the moment . One may or may not be coming home with me.
