Got them!!!!
The blocker is a modern intermediate; goes to PIAS immediately! Not gonna be able to sell that piece...
The glove is slightly bigger than current NHL spec. Feels pretty good, though slightly tighter than any of my adult stuff. It's not even broken in!!!!
You can tell it's '90s spec as there is a LOT of black on the glove. I do have a black faced block. I like the glove...

Buying equipment in US/CAN is not only about money you must spend on fees, taxes and transport. The biggest problem is that many sellers do not want to send to Europe. I can not understand why - when I am willing to pay in advance .
EDIT: Another thing is, that I´m very satisfied with my KOHO pads now, so there is no need to build custom pads now.
It is silly as far as not sending to Europe. I am certain they have their reasons...

Currently using a pair of pro return Bauer Total One, 35+2. Probably gonna get rid of em, the thigh rise is stupidly big compared to anything I've used previously and it annoys me.
Yes- the Supremes fit bigger than their size suggests. I have 34+2 One.9 and they never sealed the ice for me. Good pads, otherwise.

4 hours ago, mik said:Thanks for tips, but it is realy hard for me to get custom pads from US/CAN company, as I´m in Europe and not a Pro (e.g. taxes, transportation, customs...).
But there are small companies with custom eqipment here too (M4G, DV Hockey). Maybe I´ll take those pads and let them make some changes? Not decided yet, because now I use them really only sometimes (once per week / 2 weeks) .
I wonder if there were any custom gear builders in Europe that could build you a clone of those pads, then?
I feel your pain. The Premier drum kits in the best nick were all back home in England. Sure- there are a few in America, and I have a few. In America, you can imagine how expensive it is to get a vintage Premier kit over to here.

Just now, Hills said:JRZ won't even make X60 pads for NHL goalies anymore... that shop is locked down now thanks to Bauer.
Bummer.
Thanks a freakin' lot, Bauer.

You could always have some one clone them. Several small makers would be willing to do that. Maybe you could ask JRZ really nicely if they could do them as they built all of the Itech/Nike/Bauer stuff.

Seriously? That's fucking stupid.
I have to say that this is a minor inconvenience compared to GSBB. But- I won't disagree with you.

For some reason I cannot edit my posts. Anyone else getting that?
You can only edit for a few minutes. That's why I have so many glaring typos in my posts.

Just bought a nearly new T5550 on ebay; question is, will I actually get it?
Sounds ominous. I don't see that this seller has a bad repuation; however- the last time I bought something this mint, the seller thought better and refunded my money the next day and I am afraid that it may happen with this item.
My sob story is that I bought a nearly new Brian's thief blocker for $69 and the next day the transaction was cancelled. It was claimed that "my kid tore the strap, so here's your money back". I smell rotten sushi...
I just hope the same thing doesn't happen here. I know- I don't need another glove (with somewhat matching blocker, lol); but I liked the V-lite I had picked up so much (waiting for it to get redone) that this was a steal IF it makes it, lol.
Anyone else have stories like this?

I like the look of the original split T better. But there's no discounting how much better the closure is post mod.
Protection? And how does he get it to close so well??
Dennis has reworked two of my gloves. He takes them apart and reworks them.
If you like how he reworks a glove, you ought to feel one of his own gloves!

Love the gloves. But what are you wearing on your head?
Kustom Composites SK2000 Type; or as I call it- the Domi (as in dominator).

Haven't you tried to make your own yet?
Probably will. But compared to how cheap it is for a manufacturer to make them, I am not going to try it, yet. At this point, I theoretically have more money than time at this point.
I have reverse-engineered it. You press a lot of veneers together. The future of wood has been in sticks for a very long time. Solid wood has not been used in sticks since the '60s. Of course the equipment got better.
I have a funny feeling that maybe more engineering is in store for composite sticks. My biggest beef? Foam core wood and foam core composite have the same achiles heel- the broken down core of the blade and paddle. I like the fact that a wood stick is either intact or not. A foam core can be broken down and spongy but look serviceable.
For a pro, this is no big deal, they are supplied with as many as they need. For us- it costs money.
