ah yes the snapping is super odd.  Bending wise ive found that the coveted cat eyes actually take a bit more of a beating that others. Ron is the man though, i'm sure he'll sort you out!

Uh..... it sounds like you know exactly how "this" happens..... When you get hit in the face with a hard object, shit that is made out of metal bends.... its designed to do that... Looks like the mask did its job. I'm not sure how long you have been playing goal for but getting dented cages and having to replace them is part of playing a position where frozen rubber biscuits are ripped at your dome bud. My suggestion is to get a quicker glove hand

Finally got time to do a quick paint job on my own lid.... Went with a Victorian Esoteric Ouija Board theme....  Black magic baby!

I'm pretty sure Fusion made all of Otny's shells prior to the Sportmask take over.

Super impressed with the build and structural rigidity so far. The fiber on the inside is really nice to see and I'm even impressed with the sweatband,  which is normally a disappointment out of the box, stock.

This cage makes me so happy and the overall shape is great. The backplate clipping for the harness seems very foreign as a lifelong Bauer guy, but I'll adjust soon, I'm sure. Fits great right off the bat too after a minor chin cup adjustment to make it longer.

The one disappointment is the pouch it comes in.  No handle and very thin.  I have an extra padded Bauer bag so that'll be this Sportmask's new home.

Now, how should I paint it with these Sharpies??

This one just got one shot of waterbased gloss clear from Createx as its just a wall hanger, not for use.  Ones that are getting ice time get the automotive grade clear.

Speaking of clones.... i finished this bad boy on the weekend to forever sit on a studio monitor in my man cave....  Respect who ever painted this design for Ranford originally (pours out some maple syrup o n the ground)
