If you can get a set, give them a try. I too am a shock cord user on my other pads, but the ARS are so darn quick and easy to put on in the locker room its awesome.

@Tim_TRUEHockey, if I want a specific cowling on the 2 piece skate, will you still it at the factory? Or is my only option to buy the boot only and get the cowling installed myself? Thanks!

Thanks! My men's league team jerseys are Bruins colors/template and I think it works well. Might reverse the black and gold at some point but we'll see! 

Not nearly as awesome as some of the masks posted here, but thought I'd post a pic of mine - Mage RS with a bit of a vinyl tape job. Made my own chin sling and have been very happy with it!
