Best thread ever! I'd would like to apply for admittance, please? 52 and my picture is next to curmudgeon in the directory, plus I have to pee multiple times a night.

Nice, we have two masks from Coveted then? Anyone else?
Me, me, me. I have about 20 games in wearing this mask. Coveted 313 made from black and red carbon / kevlar weave. I love this mask! Super light and incredible visibility. I will put a review together one of these days.

What does that colored foam feel like to touch
He hasn’t shipped the mask yet. Once I receive it I’ll let you know.

I am trying like mad to find a good sewing machine cheap. I want a floating foot upholstery machine, and I know I don’t have to pay too much if I look hard. I have missed out on two ?
This is what I'm using. A buddies mom closed her upholstery business, and sold this machine to me. He might have more of them, but I doubt he'd ship.

Just to add my .02. I have had both great and awful experiences with Monster. The first set of elastic toes were delivered in 2 days without any shipping upgrade charges, ironically I received the package before I received the order confirmation. Since then I have ordered more elastic toes, suspenders, a mask bag, and several other items, and none of them shipped anywhere within the expected time window. My last order that included the mask bag (BTW.... IMO,Not worth the money) took 8 months with no communication. I agree with all of the comments above that Jeff has some great ideas, but needs help on the business side to under commit and over deliver versus the other way around. Having said this, if I see something innovative on the Monster site I'll probably order it, forget about it, and be surprised when it shows up
On a side note - I am now sewing my own toe ties, suspenders, and strapping so I don't have to wait.

I love my Grit Sumo, but after 3 years the zipper has blown and some of the pockets have failed. When carrying my pads on the Sumo I just flip the pads upside down and face them towards the bag. And just use the bungee across the thigh rise. Works great. I have a Passau bag that I may try tomorrow night.

Oh! I thought it was "made by JRZ" tags that used to be clearly visible on the pads. Where is that on the glove?
It is on the underside of the cuff. You have to peel back the cuff fairly far to see it.

@beansbats - you're lucky! I'm pretty sure the made in Canada route is disappearing soon. Bauer and JRZ parted ways. My 1S gear is made in Canada too
Can you share if your glove has the JRZ tags or not too?
@TheGoalNet - Surprise, surprise, the glove does have the JRZ tag.

I have had great experience with Ron working with Otny, as well as now with Coveted. Here are two combos that Ron built through Otny (The middle one is my old high school mask). The left combo was also painted by Ron, and the right combo is full carbon fiber construction. Do not hesitate to work with Ron.

First Post - So roast me if I screw it up
I've been wearing the Verbero goalie shirt for about a year under my Passau ProPack CA, and I like it a lot. Pros - Affordable (Buy 2 for the price of many other single shirts), protective, and machine washable. Cons - They do run hot. I own four of them and rotate them per skate followed by a trip to the washing machine.
