Wow, I can't imagine having only two straps and a boot.

I think he's more than responsible for some of the best stuff to happen to goalie gear, really. Though that could be said about any of the big guys you listed as well. Always loved all my Brian's and Heaton equipment.

@CharlieB29 I honestly recommend looking at the Brian's instagram page to see some of the designs people have gotten. Personally, I'm super into minimal designs and tend to use a lot of white. I should be getting my Optik gloves here in <2 weeks, assuming the date quoted comes true. Expect copious pictures.

I don't get rid of gear that I had personalized for me or that I won something significant in. Yes, I am attached to inanimate objects. Here's the gear family: The mitts are getting replaced in <1 month. They're the best gloves I could have ever hoped for (except the blocker has basically no spoiler and instead has the V1-esque slow curve throughout), but they were made for me when I was 14, every shot to the glove is a stinger, even if it closes and seals like an absolute dream. I probably should have shrank these down a little bit, but not worth it. Feel free to make fun of my toe laces that "do nothing," I tried the smart straps and could not get enough slack in them for them to feel like they weren't torquing my knees every butterfly, I really have no idea how anyone deals with that. The only pair of pads that I'm missing here from the ones I've used in my life are some Vaughn Visions (Osgood era Visions, with the swoosh) that my brother and I shared. Went to a Quebecois school in those things and boy was butterfly sliding in them a task.

I'm 5'7" and use a 26" by Sherwood standards, no idea how you tall guys use such short paddles in your stance.

I remember that guy. He had new gear almost every 5 months it seemed.
