Yea, definitely has lost the pop
I can imagine, this is where the zipper on the boards would come in handy. could buy a peice of hard foam/lexan and insert it in the board

Pretty much. It first cracked sometime last summer from a pretty decent slapshot. Over time the crack has been getting larger and larger as it's been repeatedly abused. It's at the point where there is a noticeable increase in "feel" when I take shots along the break line as well as the loss of a lot of the overall structure of the blocker as it now has a great deal of flexibility due to this crack.
Ah, i can imagine this has reduced rebound speed?

I think you missed the joke. By blocker is essentially split in half. I can actually bend it.
I did miss that. Thats crazy, how did that happen? Just a shit ton of shots or?

Most flexible blocker I've ever used.
my v7 has a carbon layer in it and it still flexes a lot, has been used a lot but its still an issue.

Just for conversations sake, here are my senior GT1's wwlear points in this area after two years of pretty heavy use.
Honestly, these pads are holding up a hell of alot better than my glove/blocker. Blocker has split the uhmw and the glove is getting stingers left and right. Granted, I'm playing with ex junior B guys, so I'm not faulting the senior gear for not holding up in that time. Just wanted to showcase the wear I've seen on their senior gear.
jesus ur blocker looks awful lol

I just bought 2 as well, message them and they'll combine shipping. It might have been their last 2 though.
They have some ef3.9 foam cores and some p2.5 left but i think theyre out of 2.9
I wasnt interested in multiple anyway. I have 5 sticks already and i only use 2 of them. I just wanted to try a composite stick, ive used wood/foam cores since i started playing

Thanks for the tip, I bought 2!

I dont have it yet, but I just got a CRAZY deal on a new stick.
Got a brand new P2.9 Stick on Sideline swap for 30$+ shipping which was 8$! I asked why the price was so low and they said theyre moving locations and wont have a goalie section. If you want, theres a few left. Look at "Middlebury" on sideline swap.

Correct. G4 & GT2 have HyperComp in the thigh rise to add stability and stopping power to the 5-hole area.
what is hypercomp? is it like a carbon fiber or Bauers curv composite material?

I am starting to have this problem with my VE8s, but never had it with my SLRs (they had the strap listed above).
i have ccms that have just nylon on the top layer so it doesnt stick

My knee rolls of the block every time i go down. No matter how tight i strap the knee strap, it falls off. Is there a way i could purchase a grippier material and sew it onto the top layer, or have someone do that for me?

The Hockey Shop "review" of the GT2 pads is up as well
https://www.thehockeyshop.com/blogs/goalie-gear-reviews/warrior-gt2-pro-leg-pad-review
so basically, a "review" is their idea of reading a spec sheet to promote themselves a little more. IMO, Its not a review if you dont talk abt durability, performance, and your experience with it. 1 ice session with a demo set isnt a review

Thanks! Wish I could go for a more interesting scheme, put I don't play on a team with a set colour. Two years ago was Pittsburgh gold/black, last year was Kings purple and Devils red (luckily), and my tournament team last year made me look like a damn Christmas tree. I just try to keep the same silver/red/black scheme as it was my colours in my last year of juniors.
Ah nice, I think the silver looks great

Its the same setup as any other pad. The jenpro washer is blue like the rest of the pad, the screw is black/galvanized/whatever.
