Nice! I definitely recommend JF. Super fast and responsive. Price is $180 CAD and he does the design work himself. I did a rough mockup and he ended up doing 4 revisions due to me being picky. He definitely wants you to be happy with the end result.
I 2nd it, JF is awesome to deal with, really happy with how my mask turned out

Impressive work from this guy, how long did it take from time of shipping to get back?
He received it last Tuesday in the mail and sent it back to me this Monday.

That sounds like a pretty good deal. What was your process like? Did you go back and forth with what you wanted?
Yes i gave him my basic idea of what I wanted in each area of the mask and he put together a mock up and made a couple adjustments and he made a final mock up and then asked if he was good to go to print the vinyl

F-150 or Honda Pilot.

On the first time in the new gear video you had a bunch of good saves early and then your guys let them own the middle of the ice. It is discouraging when goals pile up but it is always tough when you face high percentage shot after high percentage shot
-
That is good, I always try and have a good relationship with the ref, I want them to be fair but I also want the benefit of a doubt, haha.

Good work! What was the conversation with the ref after the first goal about? I feel you on that third goal, I had one last night where it went off of my stick up in the air and instead of catching it I knocked it into the net with my glove, it sucked. You made many good saves, it seemed like your team had a bit of a tough time keeping them out of the middle of the ice where the most dangerous shots come from.

Shout out to @icedog57 for the new to me fusion 962.

I don’t have any pointers for 3 on 3 but I can tell you 3 on 3 is not the place a goalie goes to improve their confidence, haha. I wouldn’t take goals against or your performance in a 3 on 3 to heart, I have been torched in the last couple shinny’s.
-
Good work Math! It is always nice to come in a sub for a team and pick up the win. It seemed like your teammates really appreciated you effort and big saves.
-
Glad to hear you are back in the net! You looked pretty good for being off for two years! It takes time to get your “feel” back for the position. In your first game I noticed like you said you overcommitted to shots on your blocker side and were unable to recover for the wrap around to your glove side. Another thing I noticed was you were not square to the puck a few times especially on your glove side which opened up that side to the shooter. Overall you looked good, quick feet, you recover to your feet quickly.

But why? Once I got my Passau set I had absolutely zero interest in wearing my old Brian's.
Less wear to the sets overall when they are used half as much.

Am I the only one that gets rid of equipment they don't use anymore?
Gotta have a rotation of gear, haha. Seriously though v6’s have been my shinny set, Brians for games. The v6’s came with a practice and game glove. The 5500 and 7800 blocker I picked up for $50. I won’t hold onto them forever

Guys with Wraps, how do they hold up to the impact of a puck? As a short Goalie I get hit a lot on the head.

Yeah @Fullright you can have new old school pads!

Fusion Masks

I own a fusion 9961 and a 962 they are a really solid mask. The 9961 is a hydro dipped and the 962 has vinyl wrap. The biggest complaints I have seen is guys don’t like the stock paint as it has a tendency to chip and vent holes not a smooth as some guys like. For the money I think it is a good mask, very solid and I feel like my head is very safe wearing them.
