I understand your frustration. I once had a mask not an Onty that I just got painted. My first real pro painted mask.  I played about 10 or so games with it love the fit loved the mask.  All was wonderful. We are up big in a game. Puck comes along the goal line towards the corner boards. The Asshat had no shot but insisted on trying to put the puck through me. Well I’m short 5’8 on skates. I took that unnecessarily blast over my left eyebrow above the cage. I saw shit fly off my mask.  I wasn’t hopeful.  Period ended minute later. I gave it a look saw a decent crack in it.  I said well this mask is “cuffed”

Point is playing this position this shit is gonna happen.

I shoot right handed. But playing baseball first as a kid catching with my left and throwing righty.  I just “taught” my self to shoot lefty the best I could.  

My wife writes left handed and throws right handed.

@stackem30 right on.  90s playboys had too many fake boobs.  Simmons/all hockey catalogs.  Boston hockey company(Tons of Brown gear). Ocean hockey, Great Skate.  Del Val hockey more of a local one for me. But solid catalog.  Funny thing about del Val  they put out a great catalog....Koho Heaton Vaughn etc all the big boys of the time. Had unique gear pics.  I finally got a chance to go to the shop.  It was in a rink and they was like 6 sets of pads some gloves. And not much else. I thought I was walking into a place like Simmons.  I realized quickly it was an order in place.
