Behind the Masked Marvel Assassin Launch

1. What inspired the new mask?

The new Assassin model is an extension of our high end pro models. It gives our clients and potential end users another mask option when looking at our mask line up. Each mask model has its own unique shape and design however the new Assassin model was designed to keep a tradition look while offering a wide variety of cages to go along with it that will appeal to everyone at various levels of play (pro cat eye, cheater and amateur cage)

 

 

2. How is this mask different than any of your other masks? 

The new Assassin model will be constructed using the same high end materials used in our very popular pro models Outlaw 2.0and Assault model. The mask will be designed using start of the art fiberglass, Kevlar and carbon and have an incredible look and feel to it. The fit, feel and protection of this new mask line will again be far more superior to other retail brands. The Assassin will showcase a traditional look while maintaining our meticulous attention to detail and design which has separated us from the rest of the competition over the years.

 

3. Who is this new mask for?

This mask is for a goaltender looking for professional grade protection but at a price point that won’t break the bank. The starting price on the new Assassin model will be $650.00.

 

4. Why did you feel the time was right to release it now?

We have continually expanded and fine tuned our mask line over the years now offering 6 models which are the Outlaw 2.0, Assault, Assassin, Thief, Bandit and Bandit Jr. By offering these types of models, it gives each goalie the potential to stay with our mask company from the start of their career to the end.

 

5. Can we expect further expansion from MM? 

The future is extremely promising for MM. We have several pros now using and testing our masks along with numerous NCAA/ACHA college, jr and AAA goalies all over North America. Since 2004, the vision of MM hasn’t changes. To give each and every one of our customers a mask they feel safe and confident in no matter what age. We are extremely proud to be an Michigan based company which produces some of the best masks in the hockey industry at various price points.
