Custom Wall Shell From Doug Wager
  • Review:
I had Doug make me a custom long chin Wall W10. I had him make the holes round instead of the stock triangular ones. I had him alter the chin line to give it a distinct look. I had him also omit the vents on the chin sides as well as added the pro backplate. Doug was great to work with.

  1. Just thought I'd reply to this since I just ordered a custom set and went through the process of figuring out why some photos I see of the pad has a pronounces S curve while others don't. Basically the stiff core is the one that has that curve, the regular core is the one pictured in the customizer and more straight. If I'm not mistaken this is the only pad at this time with some curve stock, and why I wanted to try Brian's again. As I've gotten older my hips lost some rotation and I feel like that S curve really helps seal it up. My custom order is in for an early March slot so won't be long before I'll be able to compare for myself. Currently in a True PX3 and before that was in the stiffest core Warrior G6 so will be a nice change of pace I think. Picture attached is stiff core on left and regular core on right to show what I mean. Shout out to Jay at TGC, I've bought like 4 or 5 custom sets through him now and he always takes the time to go over the specs for me and help me decide.
  2. Literally saw the same picture tonight on Sideline Swap and said hey I've seen this pic before. Well here's your chance. Not my sale btw, just helping out. https://sidelineswap.com/gear/hockey/goalie/goalie-chest-arm-protectors/7275121-ccm-ab18pro-fit4-xl
  3. Yep thanks, I think that will work great. Going to pull the trigger on SL then. Also sorry for the hijack OP.
  4. Okay please do, going to try to pick up something on SL this weekend or early this week if I can. I was thinking the small just because I like if arms are shorter rather than longer. Oh nooo, lol he did tell me he was going to sell it and get his own G6 colorway.
  5. Long time lurker and gear enjoyer decided to join in. Traded these with a guy for my Warrior G6 set and some cash. Loving them but can't believe the difference between these and the 12.2 set I had from Wedgewood NJD. Literal total opposite ends of spectrum in stiffness.
  6. @coopaloop1234Do you have a recommendation on sizing on the RX3 Pro+ Chest if I'm right at the 70" mark in arm span? According to size guide I'm right at the top end of a Small, and a Bottom end of a Medium and nowhere local has any I can try. Also PS fairly certain you bought a set from me on SL before, possibly even the set in my avi? lol
