Before switching to the new Premier, Price wore a P1.
Looks like an XL based on the number of rectangular blocks, and notice the wider elastic band across the back.

I'm getting ad text cover ups as well the past few weeks. I can't even find the X box to close them on my laptop. Using Firefox.
It's annoying as shit!! Can't enjoy the posts or follow the discussion properly.
Workaround for the big Google Ads popping up and blocking text:
I hit refresh. Usually makes it disappear.
The Xing out the box does nothing. It blocks the ad but the rectangle is still there blocking the text.

@Chenner29, they’re a size 9D. If that works, they’re all yours.
Deal, PM sent

@TheGoalNet, don't be spooked: Bauer is my surname. And the only Bauer gear I wear is a C/A and 960 bucket. haha
Nice wheels!
What size did you get? I've been wanting to get my hands on the stock D30 footbed to try out. Maybe we can make a deal...

Picked up some pro return Varlamov Vaughn pants, look like Velocities. They're the new slimmed down version with the double hip pad.
I wanted to try something new because my CCM 13As already have seams coming loose (at the crotch and in the bottom of the thighs). The thigh blocks are roughly 1/4" thicker than the last pair of Velocity pro returns I tried.
Outermost hip pad feels like it's padded with HD foam, the inside one is much softer. I think the stock Velocity pant has a soft foam piece here.
It's a very well-made piece; I haven't been drawn very much to Vaughn's recent offerings, but it's good to see they can still do a great pant.- 1

Not he’s out. He also does not have any cages left. Someone would have to make a 1 off or itd have to jammed back to shape.
This is basically worth nothing. Hopefully he could give it to someone or do the work himself to restore this
Shawn Schroeder (kicksave from gsbb) could probably refurb it.
Olympia Composites can make custom cages.

Browsing this thread and realized I somehow neglected to share my new mask. I think I posted in the Pro's Choice thread.
It's a Pro's Choice 961 with paint by Frank Cipra. I originally planned for it to be a Roy tribute with his Canadiens design, until I thought about it some more and realized what a waste it would be to have Cipra paint such a simple job. So we added some stuff, but my overall plan was to keep it simple and recognizable even from a distance.
Here you go...

I like the 58 fit as well, usually. Not a fan baggy jerseys, especially at the sleeve ends and under the arms.
Same here. The old CCM goalie cut was a nightmare. Huge arms, short and wide torso. My butt end would get caught in the sleeves when I went to poke check

Did my 3D fitting and placed my order for the one piece skates yesterday. Was quoted 2.5 weeks which is perfect, right between winter and spring seasons.
I realize it’s not for everyone but I was really impressed with the one piece seeing it in person. The pitch difference between the one and two piece is really dramatic. This is what I’m looking forward to the most. I am still a bit worried about the lower attack angle but seeing the two models next to each other, due to the pitch the height difference is really only dramatic at the heel, the one piece is really not that much shorter at the toe, where I think a lot of the action is happening executing pushes.
Either way I can’t wait to get them and get out on the ice to try them out. Will surely report back when I do.
IMO you want to be slightly pitched forward anyway. A lot of beer league goalies I've seen around here look like they're doing wall squats.
Having your skates/steel pitch you forward makes it easier to get your shoulders and forward to sort of envelop the puck as it comes in.

Why did you type it backwards? I'm so confused.
That's the French way of pronouncing the league. Look at the NHL logo for French Canada - it's LHN

You played at Honda Center and went with Arizona Jersey? Unforgivable, I hope you've got more than 10 goals .
Only wore that one because I couldn't find a Kings jersey. LOL

I think Smith's chesty was posted before.
Here's some more shots from one he used in '13-14.
Apparently he writes the names of his kids on the shoulder (last pic)

Took a bomb to the forehead dead centre the other night. Chipped the paint and the clear, but other than that the mask is still solid. Checked underneath the padding, no damage to the shell.
Love my Eddy Custom Kevlar.I zoomed in on this. Looks like there's a layer (or two) missing.

Has anyone here ordered custom Vaughn pants or a chesty? I'm intrigued to get pro spec models for both at some point in the future. Would love to hear about options, pricing, recommendations on how to order, etc. Maybe at Vaughn directly?
Thanks for your inputs.
A retailer will be able to answer all of those questions for you. Vaughn does not deal directly with end users.

I really would recommend them. The three biggest things I noticed from my old V5s...
- Lack of inner thigh blocks helps close 5 hole better... no more door stops.
- Come up higher than my old pants... integrate with my C/A better than before.
- Overall protection... layered protection instead of big chunky blocks.
Same here.
I had a pair of 9Ks that I ditched in favor of V5s because of the added mobility.
These new pants are more mobile and more protective than the Vaughns that I had. I would routinely get bruises on the thighs through the thigh padding with my old pants.
