Agreed.  I wish more people realized it did it.  It would help with all of the annoying extra spaces that plague this place.  **HINT HINT EVERYONE**

Even worse is going to another forum, that uses the same software, that has the behavior disabled. It's empty line breaks everywhere!

At least extra lines are now removed from quotes :)

I mean like any other application where the enter key goes to the next line.

Well I guess that's the nice advantage to having WYSIWYG rich-text editors on these forums. You get the modern behavior of the enter key starting a new paragraph with the option to easily just create a line break.

Danke!! Anxious to receive them and get them on the ice. I'd say I'll try and get some action shots to post, but really we don't even get wives/girlfriends to show up generally speaking.

My wife refuses to go to my games. "It's too boring!"

As I inch closer to clicking purchase... and for anyone viewing this post... Goalie Monkey has promo code SCORE15 going on right now that takes off 15%, even from clearance items like these pants.

That makes it a no-brainer for me, then, if I needed new pants.

Random question... Do people like this thread? I noticed there are not a lot of comments. Is that because it's self explanatory or people don't care?

I don't personally care, but I can't speak for others. Lehner wearing a 2-3 year old chesty doesn't mean anything to me, for example.

Now if somebody is wearing the latest model whatever that isn't on the market yet, then that's something noteworthy but I'd be posting that in the NHL sightings thread.

No idea, rarely use my phone.  However, we can change the setting do enter drops one line instead of two.  I’ve actually done it several times but always change it back figuring this is how you wanted it haha.

You want it to be two. Otherwise people are starting new paragraphs by hitting enter twice.

  7. The only camp I’d still consider is the GGSU camp. I have one of the drill books and it looks great. Very real world drills.

Otherwise, the money is better spent on a private lesson.

  8. I did the Jim Stanaway camp (Goalies Inc) this past summer. Lots of kids of course but about 4-5 adults too.

There wasnt really time for one on one instruction and it was really geared for the kids or beginners. That’s fine because I barely know how to t-push. The problem is that my back gave out quickly. When they put you in your stance and ask you to shuffle back and forth for what felt like an hour back and forth it just destroys my back.

I ended up not attending the third day.

Im sure it was useful to some, but with my back pain combined with the large group setting (groups of 4-5 cycling through about 10 stations) my money would have been much better spent on 1-2 private lessons.

Not saying it was a bad camp, it just wasn’t super useful to me.

What?  No, don't use the latest tab.  Click the "UNREAD CONTENT" link.  That is what you are looking for.

Definitely. That’s the one I bookmark on my phone and laptop. Even better, you can customize it to only include sections you like or care about (eg. On another forum I go to my “unread content” feed doesn’t include the entire roller hockey section because I just don’t care about it.)

  10. I don't see much of a reason for True to change construction. Maybe appearance, but that doesn't matter at all.

I don't find Bauer progressive at all.

  11. I own them as well. And no, you are wrong. See the black part that looks stitched? It's actually GLUED on. So the pleather on there and the VH logo is all glued onto the monocoque shell.

This may actually explain it better. Here is a VH speed skate that is made the exact same way (but obviously with speed skating specific features)

It's one piece. The pleather is for show. Of course the hockey skates have a toe cap where the speed skates don't because you don't need reinforced toes for protection in a speed skate but otherwise its the same construction.
