Almost got a pair today, sadly my size was not in stock tried on an 11 but was still a-bit too tight around the big toe. 3 week wait to enjoy the future lol. The skates felt amazing despite this and well constructed.

Baking mine as we speak. I did a size 11. I’m a 13 show. I do feel some pressure where buckle is on top. They put shims in

Not sure, the Superfeet have plastic/carbon reinforcement at the bottom, I'm a little nervous that it would get too hot and damage/melt the liner layer

Prob not bake with super feet in the liner but put them in right away and do the cool down with the super feet in

You could probably pick up something like this. It seems pretty similar to the Bauer toe sleeve. You can search "neoprene toe warmer" on Amazon and find some other similar ones.

Attached is a screenshot from a Bauer fitting video - you can see the toe sleeve is pretty close in size and material to the one in the Amazon link.

Awesome I might order those for the $12

I just used the toe sleeves. I have a very light hot spot on the top of my right foot, but it goes away after about 10 minutes. I'm waiting to see if that goes away with normal break in before I bake them again. The heel pain from my old skates was solved by the hinge itself.

Good to know! I’ll have to figure out what to do about the toe sleeves

I baked mine twice - first time with just the toe sleeves - no shims.

Second time with a shim on the instep. Can't recall if I used the toe sleeves the second time - the store might have lost them.

Whether you need the shims depends on the shape of your foot. I have a tall instep so I definitely should have used the shim on the first bake. If you've fit into a Bauer skate before, you'll likely be okay without shims.

Yeah I currently wear bauer pro skates. My retailer doesn’t have the toe sleeve, shims, or ice packs.

I would also say that they are great if you get hot spots around your toes or on your heels. The hinge flex was the biggest selling point for me because I was getting a lot of heel pain when getting into a crouch, and I don't get that at all with these skates. I also noticed that my toes feel way better after games. I guess my old skates were a little too snug in the toe box (either from tying them too tight at the bottom or just the skate in general), and the extra room/no lace tension around the toes is a way bigger benefit than I would have expected.

Did you bake them with the toe sleeves or shims?

You’ll want the toe sleeves to help make room for your feet and also not leave “grooves” or indents from toes.  You could make your own or I would contact Bauer and have them ship a pair.

Yeah someone suggested cutting an old pair of socks and using the ends

This is my mod for Pro Laces.  Tie the lace through the loop in the liner and then place UNDER the lower buckle so it doesn’t have tension on it.  Leave enough slack so you can slide velcro staps through.  Better than having anything directly attached to the buckles!

I may try this over the Velcro. That’s if my skates ever come lol. Had my pros sold but decided to keep them as a back up for now.

For those using Prolaces or other elastic toes, this was the solution given to me by Michel @ Prolaces. He said @TheGoalNet is using this method

It's double sided velcro that you roll up on the cable posts.

I'm assuming you sandwich the loose velcro piece between the two jenpro tabs.

With these cables snapping, I'm a little concerned about any possible extra tension this will create but I'll give it a shot for now

Do y'all think more will come in stock or was this a small run?

The only store in Northern California (pure hockey in San Jose) never got them or trained on how to bake them. I was really hoping to get a pair.

I was told they are now back ordered until April 2023. I ordered mine 3 weeks ago when bauer showed 2 in stock but yet 3 weeks later and nothing. I’m prob gonna give up and keep my bauer pros

I know, I figured going 9/16" would be safe and allow me to adjust a little easier but it felt super sharp.  I mentioned in an earlier post the employee @ GM suggested I go 9/16" as more of the blade stays on the ice in Konekts so I just said whatever do 9/16" since I'll be sending them out for profiling anyway...it's possible the kid sharpening didn't do a great job or something, idk- or maybe I'm so used to the SAM profile that a non-profiled blade threw me off.

I use Sam profile 5/8 on my bauer pros. I’ll start with that on konekts since I’m going to transfer my tydan steel over

Bauer said two were in stock? Not the retailer? I wonder if Bauer was mistaken about the inventory count. I don't know if/how Pure shares inventory counts with Bauer.

It does sound like you aren't gonna be getting them. I work at a different store - not Pure - and whenever we do transfers between stores, we get them in about 3-5 days.

Retailer said when they ordered them bauer showed 2 in stock from bauer.  But now I can’t get any eta

I was also told 2 weeks but 2 weeks was last Wednesday. I know mine are coming from Canada but even my sideline swap order is coming faster.

Not sure where mine are coming from. I was told 2 available when ordered. If it’s not until April 2023 would be good to know ha ha

What does the store say when you call them? Did you pay for the Konekts? They've got to be able to tell you whether it's in transit or not at the very least.

Starting to think I’m not getting them. It’s almost been 3 weeks since ordered and bauer supposedly said 2 we’re in stock when ordered. I’d think they’d be here by now. Oh well. Just submitted my optik3 gear order ha ha. Black with black weave.

Was the retailer shipping to you direct? Or to your local store? Could be they learned they weren't supposed to ship to you so they didn't ship. If they were going to ship to your store, could be they didn't ship because they didn't have the equipment for the bake at the local store.

Have you tried reaching out for a status update?

    Shipping to store.
