The internals on a GSX look like what was in the Mach + their typical wrist strap.

    I'm still confused. lol

Does anyone have any images of the differences between all the wrist strap options for the Shadow catcher?

I assume it is as follows:

Mach rom : exactly like Mach (what I ordered)

Mach with wrist : what you got on Mach when you added the wrist strap.

Shadow: similar wrist strap to HL2 with a rom strap (assuming from what is written in the catalog)

The velcro attachment point for the TuneFit+ does seem to come down just a little bit further. Glad they did this because I thought the Mach version was a little too small/high up for me.

I skipped out on the calf bracket this time. Otherwise, pretty close to stock.3

Edited original post with full set with specs.

Is the tune fit + strap attachment point lower overall or is the velcro tab just larger?

Note the curved calf pillow and curved calf wedge
    Catcher is a Vapor90

Calf pillow looks much better than what I had on Mach. That calf plate however… I think we need to thank the calf brackets!

  5. As promised, here is my order:

    image.thumb.jpeg.c33624f86a5428be8489902fdc9f9b7d.jpeg

I am going with the stock option for the back hand pillow.

The pads & gloves are basically Mach, as I love my set and my current specs. I will make a Mach Vs Shadow thread once I get my set to go over potential build differences and all.

    Cheers!

Have not seen it in person yet. I do not believe it changes the palm material - just the sidewall, but I can ask.

I talked with the Rep I know since my days at a store. The new pillow is thinner and shorter (doesn’t go as high up on the wrist). Still not sure what option I’ll go with, but I will likely order on Friday the 22nd.

On one hand I want to test the new sidewall, but I also like my thick pillow on the backhand. We’ll see what I end up doing. I post my specs once I order. I also intend to post a decent Mach VS Shadow thread, even though my specs are similar on both sets.

So, from what I've been told, changing the backhand changes the sideboard. Essentially, if you select the Mach backhand, you'll get something very close to, if not the same, as the Mach blocker. Leaving it stock gets you a Shadow blocker.

Does this also change the palm material, have you tried the new blocker yet? Is the pillow as comfy as the old one?

Biggest question I have, as I own a pair of Mach's, is whether the sliding/skin has improved in this generation? Still a tad disappointed on the Mach's vs HL's as they felt like a step back on that front. Otherwise don't see any real changes made to justify the upgrade unless I'm missing something.

The skin is slider 2.0, I heard HL2 were better sliding than Mach, correct me if I’m wrong @ZeroGravitas

    No. 2

My girlfriend doesn’t like the line zone red for some reason. Leaning towards #2 right now, I think this is what will end up on my order!

Hopefully Ice blue is a color on the new shadow stick, I’ll get one or two of those to match the set, likely with 2 different colorways to them to mix it up.

  10. Hello guys,

I need your help to feed my most expensive addiction 🤪

I narrowed it down to these

I don't, but I had some questions - yours is one of them - pending with someone from Bauer, hopefully they get back to me soon!

I can try to revive some old contacts of mine to get some answers, maybe that will work!

Hopefully this means we can finally get supreme sticks with a white paddle

Not sure about this, the logo will likely have the background’s colour with a chrome/iridescent outline.

Maybe white paddle paint but they’ll lock white from the paddle graphic?

Most CCM 580 pro goalies are using the 580 with the Cross Form (no wrist strap). I don't think Bauer was wrong to remove the wrist strap. Better still be on the customizer.

Mach is my favourite glove of all time. Fingers crossed it is.

Now, the elephant in the room, let’s talk about that stick graphic 🤯

The lack of sales also is contributed to people knowing what they like.. I wouldn't say people are uneducated because they prefer a soft pad to a stiff pad, nor if they prefer a hand closure to a pinching closure.

I was using eflex before switch to a supreme 2s pro back in 2018 (feels like decades ago at this point). I took a risk based on what I didn’t like on my past setups and It paid off in my case.

I also sold hockey gear for half a decade and a lot people (players and goalies alike) definitely have a lot of inertia when it comes to trying new things. Sometimes you think you know what you like but maybe you actually don’t.

  15. This line is no revolution it seems like.

Supreme is the goal line that checks all my boxes for gear, likely upgrading my Mach to shadow. Still torn on the glove wrist strap however, I do not have one on my mach and it feels great, and I have trouble seeing why bauer would add it back when Supreme is in all honesty pretty much a custom only line at this point.
