  1. when I was first invited to play I was under the impression that it was just a shinny when it was actually a mini series. In the previous video we lost  9-3 to even up the series. This game was to decide the series. First time out in my new to me subzero 3 pro pads, they felt great.

  2.

first game since early March. I was nervous in the early part of the game and it showed on the first goal when I backed in too deep too early thinking it was going to be a pass and I got beat high short side. Overall I settled in and felt ok by the end, good to get a win in the first game back.

  3. That skate looked like every goalie’s worst nightmare Joe. The vast majority of the shots were guys allowed to waltz along the “royal road” and get very high quality shots. Not a great skate to get back in the groove.

  4. Joe! Good to hear your parent is home! Good to see you back on the ice! Your glove hand didn’t look like it was rusty, unreal saves at :54 and 2:26. The skate looked like a decent pace and a ton of shots from the royal road.

Realistically, I don’t think anyone either inside the hockey world or outside the hockey world wants to hear goalie’s complaints about anything.
The only complaint I can see being fair is the danger to the goalie’s head and eyes. The puck hitting the head isn’t the problem, that can happen from any shot. It’s more about the stick slamming against the head or the stick blade going into the eye openings. That has to be the main topic presented if this is to be banned.

As far as defending against it, it’s just another form of attack that a goalie needs to be aware of and would need to adapt to.

That is a legit issue. What if he scored and as he scored the blade of his stick went into the cat eye and badly cut Rittich’s eye?

  6. Played a game last season where is was -25 Celsius inside the rink. I had toe warmers on top of my toes (lots of room In the toe box of my skate) and hand warmers. On my glove the warmer was between the interior finger channels and outside padding on the blocker it was in the palm of my hand. It kept me warm all game. Body temp control helped a lot too, have a slight sweat going all game and I didn’t dump water on myself like I do in a normal game.

Yeah, I’m glad we dont have to deal with his obnoxious tweets anymore.

heard in one of his last games w/ the devils that he felt like the goals were bad bounces (basically saying it wasn’t his fault) and the coach disagreed with that. Forgot what exactly was said there though

also, assuming you probably don’t use twitter, the pro-kinkaid + anti-schneider agenda, but it’s fading away now, a lot of those kinds of tweets came from puck bunnies who only root for the players and probably only liked kinkaid because he was oh so dreamy, and they were so convinced he was way better than Schneider

Now you devil fans just get to deal with Subban’s insufferable social media presence

  8. Liking the side view Joe! Changing the camera angles from skate to skate is a nice change. I wish I could get a camera angle centre ice from the blue line or top of the circles in facing me in the net, kind of how some networks switch to that angle on a power play. It would be a great perspective to see the game. I thought you played well, great save on that 2-0 at 3:30! You should play in a league Joe, with a team that played with some defensive structure you would do really well, you already play great facing a constant stream of breakaways and odd man rushes in these shinny’s

That guy did a few of those sets. Can’t remember his name.

Glenn green he is the king of recreating retro set ups. I can’t remember al of them but I know he has done richter McLean Potvin Roy and down to a T. If I remember right he even made the koho logos himself so they would be a perfect match. Although the guy selling these Potvin tributes isn’t Glen

Are you looking for a completely custom wrap or just pre-design stick on decals? Custom cages or LeBlanc designs have pre-made designs.

For full custom JF Aumais or skin FX are two of the best.  @Imperative just use JF for his. I believe it's around $180 CAD plus shipping both ways

    https://www.facebook.com/jfaumaismaskwraps/

@cwarnar is right $180 Canadian plus shipping both ways. I am very happy with mine, full custom wrap and JF will work with you on the design and won’t print until you are happy with the mock up
