CCM "QK5" strapping question

As you likely know, the eflex 3s feature a new leather strap system, the qk5, designed to be lighter (but honestly strap weight isn't at all noticeable) and have a beter feel on the leg, made of a synthetic material w the asthetic of leather straps. Do nhl goalies use these straps or do they use regular leather? ik they get whatever they want but ik how particular nhl goalies are w their gear choices and what specs they get

There is some differences between what the off shore factory offers and what Lefevre Canada offers. It doesn't mean QK5 is bad, it just means that Lefevre doesnt know if there is pro damand and did not invest in the option. Realize that most pro goalies are creatures of habit and don't change small things like strap materials. They are all using leather straps.

yeah i definitely understand that, i doubt they would be using it in the nhl unless they had someone promoting it
