Paint Fumes

Did this one up for a guy who was in a Canada Day weekend tournament. Sweaters are light grey with black stripes so kept to just black and white colour scheme. I put oversized team logos on the sides and his last name on the chin. I tried something different with brush strokes in the white base to have separation between the white in the logo and last name. Then, to tie in with the brush strokes, I used a silver paint pen to make a rougher, ‘sketchy’ outline around the logo. Finally, because the guy is a Potvin fan, I frosted a Potvin design over top of everything so that it’s subtle and can be only seen in the right light.
