Completed refurb AFTER pictures of this Warwick (Montoya style) 2014 build Mask.

I was tasked with repairing and reinforcing the cracked chin, replacing all strapping and hardware, all new paint (with Clear Coat interior to keep the exposed Carbon Fiber look), and all new foam with the same current fit. I typically only 'stock' the Bauer Profile style cages, so this customer ordered a new cage straight from Warwick, and had it sent to me to complete this mask (super quick shipping from Warwick).  

I like to keep refurbs as 'original' as possible, so I was able to recreate the 'WARWICK' logos and reapply them over the Clear Coated Carbon interior. The cage also fit the mask perfectly, even though it is an 'older' model mask. I added the extra 'tubing' on the cage to protect the paint a bit as well as dampen vibrations. The customer also wanted his last name somewhere on the mask but did not specify a location. I thought the open style Outsider Straps by Doug Wager of Weasel Head Customs gave me a visible yet discrete location on the backplate for this request.

Here we have a Warwick Mask (Montoya style) 2014 build. This customer wanted a complete refurb to bring his old mask back to life.

This being the first Warwick mask that I have worked on in a while, and under my own branding, I was very impressed with the quality of this mask! I have handled and refurbed plenty of Bauers, Itechs, and CCMs, but this Warwick far surpasses any of those in terms of quality, protection, and durability. While this mask has been loved and well used, it has held up very well for being 9 years old.

These BEFORE pictures show the condition that the mask arrived to me in.

I got this Bauer mask a few weeks ago with intentions for a project. I ended up going another direction with the project, so I no longer need this mask.

Brand new, never used, taken out of the plastic bag for pictures only.

I had the chance to buy into Bitcoin around $1,800 in like 2018 and am really kicking myself about it now. I finally put my money where my mouth was a few months ago and dropped a few thousand in the 'bigger' Cryptos as a more of a long-term, sit and hold investment, and a few hundred in the smaller Cryptos to play around with.  A few weeks in I was up maybe 10% and felt pretty good. A few weeks later everything dropped pretty hard... I told myself, I don't lose any money until I actually take my money out, Crypto has dropped before and its ALWAYS come back. I'm currently up around 33% on the 'bigger' long-term stuff, and about Even on the 'smaller' 'day-trader' type stuff. I prefer the sit and hold, the other stuff you really have to keep up with and put some time into.

At the end of the day I believe in the technology such as blockchain behind Crypto, as well as the decentralization. While its unclear if Crypto currency will really 'take over' in the coming years, I believe its a good place to store your money, and a good asset to have. 

OR the world economy is broken with current world events and money means nothing

Silver actually, it has some shine to it. Gray is a similar shade but a flatter color. Sure as hell not green tho!!

@ZeroGravitas you are correct. These were the Premier style pad in-between the P3 and P4, basically the P3-LE as you stated. I think there may have been a few additional customization options from the P3. You are also correct in the last offering of Canadian-made Custom retail gear.

Michel Leighton and his amazing Revoke set really got me into the gear side of the position around 2010. This whole set up with mask and jersey is 11/10!!

Who can forget Flower's powder blue set at the Winter Classic?! Simple but awesome!

Bernie rocked quite the setup with LA's 3rd jerseys! Really wish they would bring these back, the purple and sport gold go so well together!!

The graphic alone on this pad really got me interested in gear and the customization aspects. The two sets below were sets that I sought out for a long time to match my team at the time. Unfortunately, the only pieces of Revoke gear I ever got to own were two 590 gloves. Black and yellow to match the black pads below (Patrick Killeen Brampton Battalion OHL) and a Kamloops Blazers glove (Justin Leclerc). Thanks @Smeds35 for making this topic! I may have to make one for the Bauer TotalOne (my other favorite graphic)!!

Employee Purchase Program has been around for a while. I believe the number was $800 or $850 USD. Hell of a deal but Im not a CCM guy, or employee of GoalieMonkey, PureHockey etc.

Actually the ‘Vaughn’ on the glove comes stock upside down. That was actually the only mod they would not let me do, I tried to flip it I promise!! And there is a ‘37’ embroidered on the glove, just not the front.

Correct! These were done EARLY in my case and I would expect in the coming months to see delays from Bauer and CCM as 95% of their products are made overseas (specifically China).

Made in USA so no pandemic issues here! Was quoted roughly 12 weeks and took less than 8 weeks for completion. I am going to be stalking the mail man the next few days!!

Lots of changes and mods to these, will list specs when I receive them.

I'm a big Vaughn fan but I agree with most comments here on the graphic...

That being said, I'm getting a new set new season and the V9s caught my eye. Do I go V9 or a Custom setup with a 'Dudo' sized pec sheet?

(Having just typed that out, my guess is that there'd be some legal set up after the partnership is dissolved, that includes non-competes and licensing for the 590 / 580 glove designs that CCM will still be using)

The tempered/memory foam sternum pad has been great! It softens the puck and I usually swallow up rebounds that hit in the middle, puck off the floaters seem to give me more 'pop outs'. I ordered it without the neck guard for mobility reasons and wish they offered a slimmed down version. 

I'm still rocking this chesty 3 years and 6 months later! I had a used gen1 before this and loved the mobility and fit. I custom ordered this Pro Pack in early 2015 and is still going strong!

@itis121 here is a great video showing a puck hitting a mask at high speed, in slow motion. You can see the puck hits the mask and the momentum/energy from the puck is transferred and dispersed throughout the mask. The ringing often comes from the cage hitting off the shell of the mask and vibrating or other hardware in the mask physically ringing as well. Some of the comments on the video answer questions as well.

@seagoal, SLRs do not have knee rolls. I would guess those are Pro V Elites with Iceberg graphic. The graphic looks a bit odd bc the maroon is actually two zones both filled in with maroon, making the top 'spikes' look larger.

Added another set to the family! Black Total One set probably for sale soon (37+1). Its good to feel slutty again.

Got these a few weeks ago. Working on the transition from roller to ice, I love the skates, they are very light weight and I can get very deep in my stance. Got the gloves for a steal even though I didn't need them. The glove swallows pucks, anything that hits the palm directs the puck to the pocket. Blocker is very light and indeed the pucks fly off of it.

Yes they are Outsider Straps by Doug Wager. I've had Outsiders on each of my masks from Doug and they are great, no durability issues, and you can customize the colors! I believe you can get premade sets from Goalieparts.com.
