Here's some from SummerJam:
And of course... got to have one of me fishing the puck out of the net...

Man, this junk trunk is FANTASTIC. Great coverage, very comfortable, and by far the most adjustable jock I've ever seen. Could not be happier.

I just bought another used NME8 today, but that's hardly noteworthy.
I guess the only other thing I've bought recently is my Monster Junk Trunk. It's fantastic. Otherwise, my gear is all custom and the mask is the only thing you can buy retail so there's not much I even bother looking at in the store anymore.

As far as the Kenesky Roy tribute goes, I myself would have done a play on words with “Revolution” and just made it a teeny bit different, but for me, it is not a complete rip off; that being said- it gets tough when it comes to stripe patterns. Eddie VanHalen did actually patent his Frankenstein, 5150, bumble bee and original striped paint schemes on his guitars and has (with the help of Fender) sued the pants off of people who sold those paintjobs for guitars. That’s why I will NEVER show my Frankie-inspired Wolfgang I painted myself anywhere on the web!
Using that example... again there is a HUGE difference between painting a guitar that way and selling it, and painting it yourself. And then there's another threshold in the grey area in between where you pay somebody to paint it for you. Is that on the painter for doing it? The customer for requesting it? Both? Neither?
But again, for me personally I just don't care unless the painter is trying to pass it off as their own work and making money from it. Otherwise, fair game.

@IPv6Freely Do you have a fit 3? I was recently trying masks in a store and fit 2 was too snug for me. The 960xpm med/lrg fit well though.
Anyone have an idea if med/lrg 960 or 950 is comparable to NME fit 3?
No I wear a Fit 1. Getting the cage on is a bitch. I end up using a couple really long screws (one on each side of the temple) to get it started, then put the shorter ones in once those are tight, and then I replace each of the long screws with a short one.
I swear its like they make mask screws just one size too short.

Does anyone know if the liner or shell changes between bauer NME fits? I think this has been asked before but can't find it.
The shell definitely does so I assume the padding does as well. But apparently not the cages. Ever try putting an NME cage onto a Fit 1? It's absolute hell. I bet its really easy on a Fit 3 though.

Then why comment? Wouldn’t it be easier to not comment on a topic that doesn’t interest you?
You misunderstand. I meant I don't care enough about an artists feelings to not get whatever graphic I want.

I guess I just don't care.

Anyone’s cup come yet?
I've had mine for about a month.

If I took somebody's words that meant something to me, and had a sign made by a sign maker to go in my living room with those words... is that the same thing as being a sign maker and selling multiple copies of signs with those words in your shop?

All the stuff they have u probably can make over the weekend with some beer and trip to home depot for under 5-10$ and save 500%.
Nonsense.

I'm 100% okay with somebody requesting a cloned graphic. As long as the company doesn't start selling it as their own, and only doing it by request, then I don't see a problem.
That said, cloning a graphic and making logos that look like the original are two quite different things.

haha, they're selling a jock without the ability to supply any physical cups?
@IPv6Freely are you converted yet that they don't manage things well yet?
I know they don't, that's why they're so damn slow.

That would be nice, but not the case as far as I'm aware. Maybe I am and I just don't know it? I mean, yay for me if so, I guess.
They're definitely slow but the products themselves have always been good and they have always been responsive to emails.

That is a Kustom Composites cup, I do believe...
Yes, it is.
2 hours ago, TheGoalNet said:That's good info. Maybe the standard style cup could ship faster too. Have you used the jock? Do you like it?
Still kind of a classic Monster flub though. Promoting a unique cup people are clearly interested in and they are stuck waiting on a supplier.
I haven't used it, yet. Wore it around the house when it arrived. Super comfortable, and with all the adjustment points it was easy to get it to stay in place (something I struggle with my current jock).
I'm not going to blame monster because their supplier can't deliver. There are definitely things to beat them up on, but I don't think this is one of them.

Wish mine would come one day. Pre-ordered on the first day offered...
I think they were having trouble with their supplier of carbon fiber cups, or something. I just switched my order to no cup and it shipped that day. I have a cup to use in it already.

I have them direct from Doug... Love them
They're the best. Just as long as you get the kind that doesn't use snaps. I didn't like those.

Monster's new jock is FANTASTIC. The adjustability is amazing, the padding is comfortable, and the craftsmanship is actually... better than it usually is with Monster.

@IPv6Freely Is this for real this time?
It was for real last time too, but I was convinced to stick around.

All,
I'm now out as a moderator, and will not likely be posting here much anymore. This community is not going in a direction I feel I can support. I will continue to post my goalie videos and reviews on the other site I am affiliated with. I would post a link but I know better than to just spam the forum.
Thank you,

So hip post surgery I pretty much can't be in any position for longer than 2 hours... shouldn't sit "normally" in a chair for more than 30 minutes... so I picked up a standing desk. It's only been a week with it so far... but I really like it. Might be worth looking into.
Yeah, I need to do that. Problem is I work in a cube that the desk is built into. The best option would probably be to get one of those stands you can put on your desk, like these:

-Groin pull in October 2010
-Groin pull in November 2010 [AKA RIP junior career]
-Hamstring strain/lower back issues in June 2013 [due to malnutrition from a prolonged stomach virus of sorts]
-Groin pull in July 2017
-Groin pull in August 2017
I've been battling tight hips for a while, and have never felt the same since 2013. I felt amazing for a while in 2012 and early 2013. I do a lot of standing at my job, and don't do the upkeep I should given my history. Lately I've had these weird, achy hips last two months. One side feels "burny" when I stretch it too much. Between that and the emptiness I feel when playing the last year and a quarter I've been in constant debate to hang up the pads. Feels like a chore sometimes, and yet I do it still. That and captaining a team is a pain in the ass.
I have a brutal time with my hips. If I lay on my back, put my feet apart and try to touch my knees together, it actually hurts. I think its because for literally decades I've sat on chairs with my knees apart and feet together. In fact I'm doing it right now. The things you never notice...

It’s not for everyone but it’s a triple combo profile I believe it’s a 10 radius front 2” of flat in the center and a 27 radius rear
Triple combo profile on a goalie skate? Why do you like the toe being such a small radius? Do you feel you get better pushes, or what?

I battle knee pain. I'm 41 and not small. So I take drugs.
I was preemptively taking Advil before every skate because I'd get lower back pain. I stopped doing that recently after losing 50lbs.

My only real hockey injuries were a broken ankle and subsequent blood clot after some idiot jumped me when I was skating out, and then a pull of some sort that I think was hip flexor but never was diagnosed. I just took 3-4 weeks off to let it heal.

This one was in Pittsburgh. The summer event is in a different city each year. The winter event stays in Detroit every year. So yep I flew from San Diego to Pittsburgh.
Hah, was just a private pickup for another site I belong to The D was actually generally better than most beer leagues, for the most part!
