So few bits
Ccm e3.9 set
Heavy, stiff and bulky. Glove was nice but set went back
Ccm r1.9 pants to replace my tierd ccm pens pants these will be good.
I have a set of warrior g4 gloves and a pair of warrior gt pads coming today, these will replace my full g4 set as I found the pads tad to big and stiff
Wosrt bit the UK and EU only had white as an option. Yep I'm that goalie now
Too bad, nice looking set.
Do you know is the e3.9 similar to the pro pads in terms of weight and bulk? My son has a Eflex 860 (SR) set, and I compared his blocker to my Brian's SZ Pro, and the CCM is noticeably heavier. I was wondering if the CCM Eflex Pro blocker is the same weight (?)

You mean a downgrade from your H5? But seriously, I got a few years left in my H5 and still think it's the best CA ever made. Light, protective, mobile. Ticks all the boxes. Just needs a heartguard maybe. But since I'm heartless, it doesn't matter I've got a Bauer Reactor 9000 CA lined up next, and the Warrior R/GT felt pretty mobile in the shop. But Somebody should really make clones of the H5, it's like the T5500 of CA's.

Don't know. You'd have to go visit the Graf Hockey FB page and ask. Other than True and small Canadian/USA companies, is there really anything from the big boys not made overseas anymore?
I've never seen Graf skates made anywhere outside Canada or Switzerland. Which are somehow two separate entities (Graf Switzerland and Graf Canada)
Graf Switzerland's website says "Made in Switzerland" right on top.
Graf Canada seems to have been bought by Vaughn, and talks about making them in Ontario.
QuoteIn August 2016, Vaughn Custom Sports was granted the manufacturing and distribution rights for GRAF hockey products in United States and Canada. Currently a new factory for the manufacturing of GRAF skates is being established in London Ontario and will be operational in the summer of 2017. GRAF skates are legendary for their comfort, performance, and quality. It is with great pride we continue with the GRAF tradition of high quality products and innovation that only the expertise and craftsmanship that is designed in each GRAF skate can provide.
The GRAF and Vaughn brands are the only major privately owned brands left in hockey, family run, with a lifelong dedication to the sport. We are committed to bring only the finest quality product to the market to provide the ultimate performance and value to each product. -

Maybe the
'Seattle Hockey Club'
We have no name or mascot that could offend anyone... If this name offends you, please contact us. We're apologize for being insensitive.
Even better. The Seattle Liberals. The team must be made up of 50% men, 50% women, 50% "people of color", 50% "people of non-color"....jerseys are blank not to offend anyone, they don't keep score and at the end everyone gets a participation trophy.
(....actually sound more like communists...altho the communists were actually better at hockey..)

You look pretty happy for just letting in 6 goals
...and you got a pro photographer at all your games? Most of us are happy to get a blurry cellphone pic by somebodys gf, lol

Play them, in games only though. Super happy about finding the Louisville, when it DOES break I will use it as the template for trimming future paddles. I love the shoulders of a Louisville stick.
I've got a new 4 pack of Louisville sticks just like that, but white shafts, and two new Xhale carbon sticks. It's in my parents basement. If you or anyone is interested, send me a PM and we can work something out. Around $50 a stick plus shipping from New York

One day you'll be wheeling your tower bag into the rink to strap on your magnet pads and think "I really should have been doing this all along"
I'm already saying that when it's viagra and defribulator night with the seniors team

What's wrong with pre-school?

Sounds pretty fucking good to me.
...yea, but you left out the best part: you can scream and poop in your pants, and nobody calls the cops on you

Most just use velcro which does the same thing but is less gimmicky.
Or actual straps which does the same thing but is less pre-school
I'm on V4's right now, but I guess by the time I get to V8's I'll probably be around 80 and maybe those magnetic clips will come in handy if I'm too old and senile to do my actual straps

Photos from the previous season (2017-18)
Gear Present:
Pads - CCM EFlex 2's, Glove - Vaughn v6 2200, Blocker - CCM Premier, C&A - v7 XF Pro (custom), Pants - CCM Premier, Helmet - Bauer 960xpm, Sticks - Sherwood GS350 (if anyone knows where they still have those let me know), Skates - CCM Ribcor 44k
The other goalie on my team bought a new glove, but they only had it in black in the shop, and he was feeling a little down about it because it wasn't matching his mostly white other white gear. Then I saw a pro goalie on TV with a black glove...and then another...and now you. Is this a "thing" now? Or just a string of coincidences?

Like the blue/white. What's the blue rubber trim around the edges? Never saw that before.

Thanks for not asking if I somehow manage to pee on it as well... Peeing in your gear... how is that a thread???
If you can pee on your mask's harness straps, you might need to see a doctor. Or look into a career in the adult film industry.

Does any goalie in the NHL use a Bauer Reactor (ie: not Supreme) chest? I just got one and love it, very mobile and protective. Kinda surprised to see alot of SUpremes on this thread and not any Reactor (unless I missed it?)

Don´t do that, you have nice colour combo and match even the black-red Jersey. btw. when you change colours of your equipment, your team sooner or later changes colours of jerseys. Sometimes I think that they do that intentionaly .
Yea, it's not too bad...and we do have one sponsor with some blue in their ad, so I justify it to myself that my pads match to that
...any way, I'm doing what I can to change our logos and colors when we get new jerseys in a year or two. ...or else yea, I'll just find a team with blue/black jerseys and switch to that team

No. I try to get rid of my old stuff. I still have some pieces that are having a hard time finding a new home. Older skates and one barely used Sherwood 9950 stick.
edit - Though I have to admit, idk wtf I am going to do if I ever do get a matching set for my team. Wife would flip if I have two sets of everything(nor do I feel the need to have two of everything) but if I get rid of my current set then I basically get rid of my Richter persona...
Yea, I have that problem too. I normally buy White/Blue/Black gear, becauseit's the Estonian national colors, and I just like them. Usually, it manages to match my teams. But right now, I'm playing on 2 teams, and both are red/black. I'm tempted to buy red/black gear, because it would match BOTH my teams, and make sense. ...but then I would lose the blue/black/white scheme I have worn for almost 20 years
