Nah, they need to earn their lumps.

Also, I thought the name "climate pledge arena" was a damn meme. I can't believe that's the actual name of the arena.

    That's just awful.

    I'm surprised it's not the "BLM-ANTIFA-LGBTQ-BIOPC Arena"

But no matter, rioters will burn it down within a year anyway, let's start taking bets now on what the next arena name will be..

It's  not. That's a combination that this guy and tattoo artist created.

The S and the anchor are officially separate logos.

...so that jersey and anchor+S screenshot from your phone is just a mashup someone made? They should make that the official logo, looks cool blended together like that. Should be a 3rd jersey at minimum.

Also,  someone took that tattoo with the logos combined and made it look official.  Looks pretty sick.

...wait...the anchor and S combined in the tattoo is not an official logo? They are two separate logos? I'm confused.

That'll be Phil Kessel's nickname after he's taken in the expansion draft.

Perfect! He's probably got the plumbers-crack to back it up too, LOL

Nice! Not many NHL teams have a logo that translated into a tattoo nicely, but this works out great. I guess that requirement was high on the list for a Seattle team ;) Tattoos, crack jokes (drug and butt-crack), climate-friendly arena...it's all falling into place...

Ever heard "asshole" by Dennis Leary? Just show up to the games with a Diesel truck and litter your KFC packing outside the arena on the walk in. Climate Change Area will take notice.

...and don't forget to park in the handicap places while the handicap people make handicap faces

I hear the organist will be playing some Krak-pipes.

...and then the fans are Krak-heads?

"Gay" can certainly be used as a pejorative, but jean obviously offered the name sardonically.

I beg to differ, your superlative conjecture of indignity has no substratum of reason.

Some of the more recent comments about libtards and seattle name suggestions remind me why I left the hockey community for so many years.

Sigh, although I'll bet that my handle as well as what I just said will give some folks all the ammunition they need to feed their ignorances.

The "hockey community" sends you a card

  8. My 17 year old son went to the Pro Goalie Camp in Zuchwil (Switzerland) last year, run by David Aebischer and Martin Gerber. It cost about $700 and was 1 ice time Friday, two on Saturday and 2 on Sunday, with other activities in between. My son enjoyed it and learned alot, but drills and pace was pretty intense. He was actually the only non-Pro goalie there, LOL. We thought the "Pro" Camp was just a sales-pitch thing or something to make it sound cool, but he soon discovered he was training next to goalies that he recognized from TV. Not sure how my son got in there, LOL. Well, actually, he was at a different goalie training with Gerber the week before, and Gerber told him there was some free spots in the camp, and my son was heading for U18 national team try out (Estonia) so we figured to give it a shot. Was a good experience for sure.

The first pic below is Gerber shooting at Punnenovs, with Aebsicher screening him. Punnenovs was definitely the best goalie there, vry hard working but relaxed at the same time. It was interesting to compare my son doing the same drills before/after him, you can really learn alot that way.

  9. The huge piece of velcro on the calf wrap looks like a good idea, but I don't like that they don't give an option to wrap the knee-cradle to the opposite side (ie: you have to connect the knee cradle to the calf-wrap). I know that's the trend, but still, wouldn't hurt to give the option...

Don't know why but I'm feeling a Reidic vibe from that mask.

    @estogoalie what do you think?

    Where?

On a side note, I tried on a WALL W10 (Large) in a shop again yesterday, and that is the best feeling/fitting mask I ever put on my head. I think after about 20 years with ReidiC I might jump ship and go to WALL.

  11. The first comment in the review was "very bulky", which is kinda strange to me. I have the original RGT and what I love most about it, is that it is very light and mobile, with great movement in the arms (ie: I can drink my water bottle no problems). "Bulky" is not the word that comes to my mind with this CA. Can anyone who has tried both units give a comment? Was there any drastic changes between the original and version 2? Or was it just small incremental upgrades? It's all a matter of opinion of course, one persons "bulky" is anothers "mobile" ;)

    Great picture.

The VGK still look like a fake team used in a movie to me with the logo and the swords with explosions thing on her arm cuffs.

Poor lady has to walk around with that on her head? Good luck.

...good luck to the poor guy who has to sit behind her during the game, LOL

What legs pads are you wearing in the two middle pictures, where you have the St.Louis and Canucks jerseys?
