I am angry for the poster who has had a four month wait for something SIMPLE like a pair of gloves!!!!
Well he’s not perfect obviously, he’s gonna drop the ball sometimes. I’d rather wait 4 months for a good quality setup than having to buy 3-4 setups a year *cough* bauer *cough*
yes, if what Mike said was all true, it’s complete bullshit, but it doesn’t make their products any worse than others, maybe not as innovative but with them stitching their graphics and lacing their gloves, it’s gonna take a lot longer than the rest. Again, I’d rather wait for them to take their time making sure the details are there (if the demand isn’t too high) than have digitally printed ones. The shipping would probably be due to how many pros are ordering stuff in the off-season, I shouldn’t have to explain that but here we are.

Maybe not a cunt, but just very delusional.
they aren’t all bad, Dennis Doll has been extremely helpful.

Between that and the V2... Top all time pad graphics ever
Agreed, although the PVE holds a special place in my heart. I’d have the iceberg graphic if I didn’t have that.

Posted this on another thread but oh well
vaughn epic 8880 pro return. has a weird ass closure on it but it closed very easily out of the box, it was also very lightly used so I think I got lucky with it.
i was hoping without having to go full custom that i could get a backup glove so i don’t wear out my main one too much.
overall I like how it feels but playing with it it kinda feels small if thag makes sense, I guess I like a bigger catching surface.
so far I love it, but the feel is so different from my LT98 that I don’t think it’ll fit well being the backup.

They've got a throat protector coming out shortly
Yes. Can’t wait, but interesting pricing. Maltese has nailed it but it costs way too much. I also ordered their mask foam for my CCM until my X1eco elite comes in.

All their reps are gone and they don't have a functioning website. Life support might be giving them too much credit
Eco pro foam might be giving them a run for their money...

Interesting you use a cotton glove. When and how did that become part of your gear?
So my first ever glove was a custom intermediate CCM premier, 590 break. I started using it a few months after, even at an intermediate the CCM and the pocket was still huge, so I started using the cotton glove to take up more space so there was less loose spaces around the thumb and fingers.
It’s actually easier to close gloves with my bare hand than with the cotton since you feel it a bit more but it’s way too loose for my liking. even if I try to tighten the leather straps it only stretches my fingers out and that actually makes it harder to close so I left it as is.

Picked up this vaughn 8880 epic pro return (not sure from who exactly) this literally just came in, this is my first impression of it
first off, I wear a cotton glove with my trapper pictured below, the rest is pics of the trapper and closure.
as I said before, I wear a cotton glove with does take up some space but you get a little less control. despite that, this glove still closes very easily out of the box and mind you this is very lightly used. the way the thing curves down at the fingers really conforms to my hand extremely well you can see I’ve got an interesting closure on it and there’s not much I can do to change it. it’s definitely weird at first glance but I don’t mind it too much. like I said, this thing fits very snugly on my hand, the wrist mobility is great and I hardly have to tighten anything except the inside Velcro at the top of my hand. really happy with it so far.
will update you all once I get some shots with this thing.

It’s kinda funny how most non pro players still have better style than a lot of NHLers...

Also, I’ve played around with the idea of a way to add more padding to the upper arms (of them at day comes with my CCM CA, and I tested it out with my old RBK P2 C/A):
Pic of my old Vaughn Knee/Thigh wraps:
What I did to test them:
Just velcro’d them around the upper arm with the strap that is used to wrap around your leg.
Back when I tinkered with this MOD, this was my main C/A at the time. When I tried this in a game they worked SO well. They moved around a lot, but that was because I just strapped them in to test. Looking to get a permanent fix one of these days.
My my main goal of this mod is to have them behind the arm (if possible) so it won’t be seen, and the visual look of the C/A still remains original on the front.
I just plunked them into the general area of where i’d Like them to sit. No idea how I’m going to get them to stay though. They have a lace area on one of the sides so maybe I can lace them it? Or maybe cut/sew them somehow.
Any my tips and tricks (or suggestions for this mod I will attempt ) would be helpful. Thank you!
This thread is awesome. We should totally have a “MOD Thread” on here.
Now this is definitely different from the rest I’ve seen.
might consider cutting the shoulder floaters off my Optik and onto my SZ3!

Regardless its still better coverage if tied to the ear vents. Changes the angle of the dangler.
Also increases vision.

Cowling free skates suck, just say no to cowling-free , and I think the skate companies DO NOT CARE ABOUT OUR WELFARE!!!! They want us with broken feet so they can sell custom skates!!!!
Actually I love my s29 skates and have taken some hard shots to them and have maybe felt a thud but not much else
I’ll just give you the benefit of the doubt and take it as your opinion
