Are there still two Roy molds? The bubble forehead mid 80s and the 93ish and on Roy?

Yes Ed is a great guy and once reached out to me personally on GSBB to come to his place and check out his masks( we live somewhat close) . But at the time I couldn't swing one of his masks. So I didn't want to waste his time. Looking back now I'd say hell its only money. And I'd own a legendary mask. I don't want this to happen again.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet but you have me thinking. I don't want to miss out on owning one of these pieces of history.

Yessss!!!!!!! i do like the all white look but not on every goalie. Thank you Hiller, Crawford, Smith etc. for bringing colors back to gear.

With the Mage rs. Thinking about a theme for paint.

I now own 2. For the money. They are pretty good. Granted I havent played with the x8 yet but it seems close to mint. Someday I'll add a protect sport to the mix.

Thanks. Had to do it. I was worried because it's a small and my Mage RS is more like a large (which I did shim with foam) but the small fits me great!

First off thank you for your service. I buy all the stuff I couldn't when I was younger. Or it's how I justify it to my self now. Those first Koho pads I got were the jr or youth ones, cheap(200 bucks but I thought they were awesome) I got em for Xmas because I had to have an oral surgery and I refused to get knocked out despite doctors/parents wishes. I only took a local. At the time I didn't realize I saved my folks a nice chunk of change by me being hard headed. So when I got em which I had no clue I was, they told me why. They were my first set of ice pads. To this day still worth it !

Thanks for the kind words about my pads. When I was 12 ('92-93ish)my folks got me that very same style pad.(yes Roy was my hockey idol) so when Koho came back with the vintage design many moons later. I HAD to have them same colors and all. Only wish I had a pic of young me in them too. Mr Richter, you set is awesome!!! Your mask a level above that.

Yup. I know things got bad for him. But when I was dealing with him he was great. Answered all questions, even sent me progress pics unprompted. I guess I was lucky I got my mask back (mid2013) before things went south with him. But all other quotes were AROUND the same money for that design.

Thank you, it was something I came up with my self (design that is) paint was done by airtrix.ca which I think is no longer in business.(sadly) I never take offense to being asked what things cost. It's an "is what it is"to me. And that paint job was less than $600. Mask was around 400.

Thanks, really happy with how that mask came out. Next, I'm looking to go with a basic Roy(Habs) themed black and white mask to go with the pictured set.
